Default Ask Billboard Follow up

I emailed Keith from Ask Billboard to see if he heard anymore about Stevie's upcoming projects and he responded that he will have Stevie news in his colomn tomorrow!

So just a head's up, sounds exciting!

Awesome, Joe... I'm looking forward to his response.

It's probably going to be a blurb about the "Best of" collection. And he may not even know anything about the track list.
::cue Debbie Downer sound effect::

As excited as I was a couple of years ago by the idea of another new Fleetwood Mac album, I've since realized that I'd much rather have a new Stevie album.

One interesting possibility though, would be if Lindsey and Stevie each released solo albums, but then toured with Mick & John as Fleetwood Mac.
They could play some Mac tunes along with material from each of their new solo recordings. Since they seem to clash when they're working together in the studio but get along quite well on the road ("quite well" for them, that is), that might be a good idea.

(By the way, I have a feeling the news that Keith C. from Billboard is referring to, is simply about the upcoming "best of," not a new studio album. I'm still looking forward to what he has to say though.)

I think that's an excellent idea as well - and they've obviously thought about it. Mick made reference to that possibility in the Rockline interview he did just prior to the 2004 SYW shows, commenting that it would save a lot of time.

I always thought the FM thing was an 07 thing anyway. I don't think anything has been "pushed back".
