He was funny at first, but then he just started repeating himself. I often liked to tease him that he was as guilty of running his schtick into the ground, as he claimed Stevie was.

He had a particular style, but Stevie had damned near 30 years on him in the schtick grinding category. And anyone who calls someone's big butt a dumptruck can keep on keepin on in my book.
That will forever crack me up.

I agree completely, and I'm one of the people who thought it.

Yeah? I always thought that was one of his least clever cracks. I mean, kids say that kind of stuff on the playground. In fact, I think that one's actually cribbed from a "Yo Mamma" joke.

Some of the other stuff was a hoot though... like the "mob widow" line. But even that got run into the ground.

He also did much of it to get a rise. But, some of it was pretty funny - at least to me. I mean I can get on La Nicks as well (look at Homie's sig. ling ) -- but Diss liked it a little too much

I still miss the ole douchebad though

Everything he did was to piss of the Chiffon Heads, and it worked I still have fond memories of the chat Josh, Victoria and myself had over @ the sevenwonders board. Good times, good times...

I don't think you'll ever get it. And, I guess, that's okay- to each their own. As my dad used to say, "Whatever blows yer dress up".

He was/is smart. Everyone of us has a point we "run into the ground"- you are no exception. It must be very easy at this point to take what he had to say and belittle it down to a "Yo Mama" joke.

I'm a Nicks fan that came on board as a 14 year old during the Rumours era and I won't ever be 'over Stevie' .But I can't really disagree with much that diss had to say about her at all .If i was a newer /younger fan I think I would have jumped ship by now.Really how interesting could a perpetual oldies jukebox act/special guest be?
