I'll kill them with my bare hands!

Some assh*le yelled out of a car to me last nite "__ pounds overweight." WTF? I don't know what number he said. In hindsight I wish I thought to say "___ inches too small". My ego was already bruised having hung out with my roommate all night where it was the KT show and I was her invisible sidekick. Guys at clubs suck.

Oh. My. God. I would have been mortified - why men think it's perfectly fine to be complete assholes like that is beyond me. Too bad you didn't think of that retort sooner - and hopefully you'll never have to use it in a similar situation again. Sucks...I'm usually the invisible sidekick at clubs too...

So add being the invisible sidekick to my list of pet peeves.

One of my bosses loves to dis Lindsey because he knows I really like him! UGHHHH! I hate when he does it but I say it's because he wishes he looked as good as him!

That made me laugh - last night for once it actually wasn't totally the Rain show with me as her invisible, non red headed sidekick. Okay, not "for once", but it does happen a lot. It actually works out, though, because she is way too friendly with people I would never want to talk to. So, since they are usually boring, I don't have to talk to them and she does! Sweet. Hey, she made her bed by being so friendly....
Last night and today we were, instead, the "two beautiful ladies" or "two fine women", etc.

Um, also, about the yelling out of the car? WTF?! Okay, first of all, no one who looked at you would think you were overweight unless they were a freak. Second, that is the number 2 reason why the guy was obviously a freak, the first reason being that he's yelling out of his car to people about their weight, for fun. I have never, ever heard of anything like that. What was it, a gay drive by bitchslap?

People who state their opinions as if they are fact and can't tell the difference between "best" and "favourite" i.e. "X is the greatest singer ever in any genre. period." then when confronted says something like "you clearly don't appreciate their genius and their unique talent".
The most annoying thing is that this happens on some message boards (not this one yet, thankfully) I'm on, but if I didn't appreciate the singers talent I wouldn't be there!

I hardly ever argue with anyone, but if someone makes a statement like that I will argue them into the ground.

well, "X" IS the greatest singer ever!! i'm waiting on him to start singing again, then I'm ditching Fleetwood Mac.

heehee..no, I see what you mean-basically closed-minded people. My grandmother is like that. And when you correct her, then she starts lying to not "be wrong" .

Arrow Last Night

Watching a movie with a friend and, I suppose because it is not being shown in a theatre, they yapped non-stop asking questions about the film and making comments about the film (i.e. "why do you suppose they did that?" "do you know who that is?" "I wonder if they will decide to killl that guy." "I will bet in the end...blah blah")
Finally I said, "you may want to shut-up so we know what the film is about."
Am I a bitch? (...that question is not for you homie! )

I had no intention of answering, until you listed my name. I try to keep such opinions to myself.

Anyway, as much as I HATE to agree with you, this is one of my BIG pet peeves, too. My cousin comes over to my house, and stays a couple days each week. After he's had a couple beers, he will NOT stop talking. Last week, I finally shut the movie off, after about 30 minutes of non-stop blather. He kept talking for a few minutes, then he said, "turn the movie back on. I wanna watch it."
Me> "WATCH IT???? You have talked NON-STOP since I put it in, 30 minutes ago!!!!!!!!" He denied it, and I then listed topic after topic that he'd babbled about. "You've not heard one word from the movie, and neither have I! Do you realize that you NEVER stop talking?"
He finally shut up....
Amen.

You are so right. I don't even like those people at all. It's funny because Kristin and I talked about it (I just said I felt the guys were not friendly) and she said they are all very cliquey and probably not the kind of people I would actually want to talk to anyway. They are very shallow people who party party party and that is it. There is nothing wrong with partying but there has to be some depth there too!

As far as the weight thing, that guy probably attends Howard Stern's school of what a woman should weigh. He would probably tell me I should weigh no more than 110 lbs. That would be impossible!
