Ooh, hell yeah. I can attest to this, having been the victim of a mean friend who signed drunken me up to do Edge karaoke. It was not pretty. I'm still traumatized.

If you're gonna do drunken Karaoke - La Nicks is the way to go.

Sadly, I get off the Nicks rather quickly and move on to GNR or Oklahoma

"Candlebright" I find quite hard to sing - its quite forceful.

I agree with "Wild Heart", and I would also say that "Loves A Hard Game to Play" is quite hard to sing as well

I've always thought SDMHA was kind of hard to sing......... or at least sing and sound good doing so!! Although Stevie doesn't seem to have a problem singing it......

If we are talking hardest song to sing and sound like stevie... I would have to say 'Dreams' as it is a fairly smooth Stevie vocal (studio recording wise)

Seven wonders is pretty challenging to... due to dynamics of the song...

but I dont find the songs hard in terms of vocal range.... its more capturing the "sense" of Stevie through her phrasing.... Her phrasing is very interesting and this makes it a challenge to sing certain songs and retain the "magic".

I agree that Standback is a difficult song if you dont get all the little fluctuations that she makes ... (personally this is one of my favourites to sing)

Tell me about it!!!!!!!

But, I can still sing regardless of where it is and I get a gig every now and then. Granted, it usually is for some old lady in her parlor on her birthday, which is wildly different than a cancert hall

I really have no true regrets, but that is as close to one as I likely will ever have. I did try, though, to make it in that filed and maybe that is why I have no regrets.

'No Questions Asked'. I love this song, but it's one of the oddest vocals I've tried to sing. "And you miss those arms, that...used...to...go...a-round you...". I found if you sing it angry it works much better. The chorus isn't hard, it's the rest that's a challenge.

Opening of 'Destiny Rules'. I just go high and accompany. I have no choice! But I can do the rest. It is more fun doing the chorus on a higher note though.

Maybe this should be 'parts of Stevie songs you have trouble with'?

No kidding. Note wise, it's got to be the lowest thing she's ever recorded (the entire song, I mean).

Since I am a singer, and I am a Tenor I- which is right in-above Stevie's range (not today, sillies).

I would say the hardest Stevie song to sing is...

"Talk to Me"

She didn't write it, so it's not tailor-made to her voice. She really had to concentrate on her singing on that one, and it is fukcing consistently HIGH!!

I would've given that distinction to "God's Garden"... talk about a low vocal!

Annie (our Stevie) won't let us put Gold Dust Woman after Rhiannon unless there's at least two non-Stevie songs (one of which is often I'm So Afraid) in the gap to rest her voice. She does give it some, too
