Ticketmaster is now listing an October 21 date for Cincinnati, so it appears that additional shows/locations will be added to the tour!

As some of you know, I am from Calgary in Canada. I highly doubt the Vancouver or Seattle (to a lesser extent) stop, so I think I am going down to San Francisco for the show at the Palace. Have any of you seen a show there? What is it like, it looks spectacular. Is it open air etc?
Anyone else going down from Calgary? I have found packages for Under $500. I have been to San Fran but only when I was quite young. All the hotels that I am looking at are around 10 blocks west of Union Square, they look to be very "old style", but are surprisingly appearing to be quite nice. How is the Bart system in San Fran? Also, the block distances are kind of throwing me off, Calgary is the definition of Urban Sprawl, are distances like say 20 blocks in inner San Fran actually daunting distances. (sorry about the offtopic, I am just so excited!) ![]() |

No Texas dates? Hmmm, maybe the gap between Chicago and Phoenix...maybe he'll do the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans on 10/28 or 10/29. That would be too perfect, since I'm going to be there anyway.

Quote:
Blocks in downtown San Francisco are not very big. However, you need to be careful because just a few blocks from Union Square are some not-so-great neighborhoods. I can help you through PM, if you want. BART is an excellent system, but it doesn't really get you around within San Francisco. That would be MUNI. I think our public transportation system is quite good. Anyway, if you want to run some of the hotels by me through PM, I can let you know about the neighborhoods, etc. |

I'm dismayed that he isnt' coming anywhere near Portland, Oregon!
During his Out of The Cradle tour he played here at an intimate but decent size venue. The place was packed, and the audience was hyper-charged, and completely blown away by the show. He got such an amazing overwhelming response from the crowd. I get chills just remembering it. Out the hundreds of concerts I've seen, this show still stands out as one of the top five most memorable. Could it be he still remembers that during a quiet point in the show, some idiot yelled out "Where's Stevie?" It got a big laugh from the audience, but I'm sure he wasn't too happy about it.

Closest to me is Atlantic City, about an hour away. Maybe I'll be able to make that one?

Okay... Where did you see that? I just may have to hit that one! Give me a good excuse to visit the parents.

Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Santa Barbara and Denver! November will be pretty busy for me. I can't find any website for the Van Centre in Vancouver. The Paramount looks amazing! Off to look at the Newmark!
