This is a few weeks old now, but you get the idea.....

[trackaghost]

Are the titles in bold the ones you own?
Because you forgot to bold Paris by Paris Hilton.

[estranged4life]

that I own (Since my favorite genre of music has gone back to the underground):

David Gilmour - On An Island 1.187.000 (Great!)
Lacuna Coil - Karmacode 227.000 (Great!)
Def Leppard - Yeah! 187.000 (Good)
Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime II 170.000 (Major Disappointment)

Really sad that nowadays an album is only considered a success depending on sales and/or awards it may win than instead of if the album contains ANY great music.

One of the best metal releases last year (By many a critic) only sold over 30,000-Nevermore's "This Godless Endeavor", but was overlooked since it was not a major label release (Small label Century Media). But at least Nevermore's label mates Lacuna Coil are gaining momentum with their style of goth metal (Remains to be seen if the Oct.3rd release of the new Evanescence album will sell like their previous release "Fallen")

Screw you! I don't own Paris Hilton's album!

No, the ones in bold are just ones I thought were interesting

That's not what you were saying the other day! You LOVE Paris, admit it!

Weird that the RHCP have the biggest selling album of the year so far. It's not even very good!

I work in a music store my dear. I have heard most of the albums on the list....

Agreed. Its actually very boring

[trackaghost]

The High School Musical phenomenon is surprising too.
I wish Highway Companion was higher on the list.
That is a fantastic album.

SO true.

And might I say..your sig has me cracking up everytime I see it.

[foxyluva]

Can I just say that I am shocked at the amount Jewel has sold. Less than 305,000 worldwide

I wouldn't be suprised if Warner drops her after this.....

thought of using the following as a signature, but it is larger in size & thus loads slower:

Tom Petty hasn't sold that many more though...
I have to say Jewel isn't really a big commodity outside of the States.
The previous album 0304 - the pop one - obviously really backfired and a lot of fans deserted her.
It's a shame her new album hasn't done better though, it's the best thing she's done in a long time.

Yes, I too am shocked about the Tom Petty album selling so few - it really is an awesome record! My personal favourite of Tom's.

I have to disagree about Jewel though. She is a huge star outside of the States - all of her previous albums have done extremely well, but this new album has flopped big time. I don't think I even sold one copy....

I do agree with the desertion of fans though - 0304 was a big mistake.....

I didn't think it was that bad - a big departure, sure, but overall, it still has alot of good moments.....

That track (I forget the name) that she wrote originally for Holly Valance though is a piece of **** - serious garbage....
