Exclamation Let's Make a 'Best of The TISL Tour' on CD!!!

Alright, I am a major trader, and I noticed that there is a compilation of the best 'Dance Tour' performances on CD. Let's make one for the TISL tour!!!! We'll post our opinions on where each track should be taken from (obviously, this is for those ledgies who have alot of TISL bootlegs...lmao..) Here are the songs and in order, please post what show you want that song from....

Disc 1

1. TISL Intro
2. Stop Dragging My Heart Around
3. Enchanted
4. Outside the Rain
5. Dreams
6. Gold Dust Woman
7. My Favorite Mistake
8. Sorcerer
9. Everyday
10. Rhiannon
11. Stand Back

Disc 2

1. Planets of the Universe
2. Everyday is a Winding Road
3. Too Far From Texas
4. Bombay Sapphires
5. Fall From Grace
6. Edge of 17
7. I Need to Know
8. HAEWAFY
9*Should we include leather and Lace???*

Thanks for taking part!!!!

Hmmm...this is a tough one...so many good shows!! Off the top of my head, I can think of HAEWAFY from the Jones Beach Show...it was really good b/c it was the first night she came out with the hat on, and it was the one show that I really cried my eyes out during that song....the other ones I was tempted, but held onto my tears...lol. I wasn't there, but I heard that FFG got really good during the end of the tour, starting in Vegas-L.A.. Defintely on the of the EO17 from early on in the tour, because thats when Waddy's guitar solo was the best!! Maybe fom Hartford or Boston. I guess thats all I can think of right now.

Another question I had, was has anyone come across any bootlegs from Santa Barbara or Irvine??? I was at these shows, but haven't seen any bootlegs from them. Irvine was a really good show, and SB was the show where she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to go on b/c of her voice, and she stopped the show and talked with us for awhile But then she pulled it off quite well

Yes they are both out there. I have them on my page.
I have not seen anything from TX, NM, CO. or Toronto,Canada. I was wondering if any of these are out there. Has anyone seen any boots of these shows?

I am sure they are out there as well. For a while I couldn't find West Palm Beach, and two days ago I got it. As far as best shows of the tour, Naples, Fl. has to be one of the best. The sound is great, and the audience is roaring the whole time!(I was there ) I would have to put GDW in from that show...just terrific.

So, so far we have:

GDW: Naples
HAEWAFY: Jones Beach
Fall From Grace: umm... Los Angeles?
EO17: Boston

Anyone agree, disagree?

I would put in Stop Draggin from the first show in Pitts, b/c it was the song that opened the whole tour....I do not know if it was the best one, but it makes sense to me to use that one

I'm sure practically every HAEWEFY she did was good and even though somebody already said Jones Beach, the Las Vegas show 10/5 HAEWEFY was absolutely beautiful. I was there but when I got the bootleg and listened to it I couldn't believe it. The sound is amazing and her voice sounds so strong. It's as if she singing directly into the recorder. If anybody has heard it and agrees I think it should be considered as well.

Well they are both pretty good. I do think that 10/5/01 the show without Sheryl Crow sounds a little better.

Thumbs up I'd have to agree on the HAEWAFY from the 10/5 Vegas show

Where can I get a boot of that? I only have the first 1/2 of 10/5 and all of 10/6, but that HAEWAFY from 10/5 was flawless. I also like the one from the first post-9/11 show, I think that was Atlantic City? And I like the Dreams from Jersey, I think - it's the one where she rambles on about recording it and that John, Mick and Lindsey are currently in the studio working on the new FM album.

I'll have to go home and check my notes - I still haven't made it thru all of them, but I like to listen to her between-song-banter and I always rate the GDW "wail." LOL

I think this is great idea, and something I planned on doing myself "someday," but if we can all pull it together, I think it would be awesome!!

The Dreams from Jones Beach was good too....its the one where she ends it differently....I can't remember exactly what she says, but she said something like..."I told you so, I told you so...." and then explains that she got lost in a thought about the new album.
