19. John Travolta turned down the starring roles in "An Officer and a Gentleman" and "Tootsie."

20. Michael Jackson owns the rights to the South Carolina State Anthem.

21. In most television commercials advertising milk, a mixture of white paint and a little thinner is used in place of the milk.

22. Prince Charles and Prince William NEVER travel on the same airplane, just in case there is a crash.

23. The f irst Harley Davidson motorcycle built in 1903 used a tomato can for a carburetor.

24. Most hospitals make money by selling the umbilical cords cut from women who give birth. They are used in vein transplant surgery.

26. If coloring weren't added to Coca-Cola, it would be green.

They are all TRUE . . .

He had his belly button surgically removed.

#2 is definitely true. But I'm not sure about #6... I'm pretty sure it's 13%, not 7.

aww, I was going to try to guess, but then you told us the answers!

True or False - Eating spiders in your sleep helps with weight loss.

If you have a tummy tuck, and they don't recut your belly button, you won't have one. Judging from Mr. Cock's profile, I don't think he had the tuck. I also can't figure out any way scientifically to end up without a belly button.
Also, people brushed their teeth sooner than that. With end-frayed branches and such. And aren't end frayed branches to brush your teeth an "invention"? I think so.

What? Was it a dirty joke, or an actual impetus to eat spiders for weight loss? Oh, you gays... JK.

I swear, I will never be able to read this thread again. And not for the spider, but all the belly button talk. Oh Gawd I hate belly buttons. I think that is the grossest part on the human body. They make me cringe. If I ever have children, my husband will have to do the whole "belly button clamp thing" because I wont' even be able to look at it. Any surgery that requires you to go through the belly button makes me weak in the knees. Oh, and amber-that whole tummy tuck post. I will have nightmares about that for a week. And also know that tummy tucks are not an option for me!!

Lots of people don't have belly buttons because of abdominal surgery.

I've read a couple of times that a human swallows an average of 7 spiders during sleep over their lifetime. Ew.

Still, I find it hard to believe. Wouldn't the tickle wake you up? And then you'd gag?
