Awwww. Thanks you guys! Brendan will be 6 on 9/16. He is my JOY. My love. Its because of him that I am a child advocate. Bless his heart My goal is to ensure (by any means possible) the safety of America's children. The recent "Adam Walsh" bill that Bush signed into law (GASP!!!!!!) is a step in the right direction. And I am campaigning in my own state as well.

^^Oooh 6! what a fun age! My nephew just turned 7, and he's the light of my life for sure!

I think your work is noble, and I'm glad that you're able to do it, I couldn't handle it - the thought of what some kids in this world have to go through just kills me...

I should have said this is what I can look like. It isn't really a fair representation: I was at a party, and many of my friends are photographers, so you know, I am all made up, and they take good photos. Here is one that shows more how I look without as much makeup and primping, and the photographer is my 3-year old son. Well, since I was a victim myself, I have that to draw upon as well. I tell you, the best advocates are the victims or those who have "been there/done that"
(ie drug counselors etc...) Ultimately our job on this Earth is to HELP each other not point fingers or act superior. I may fall down and forget that from time to time but its always there in the background, to goad me and remind me of the TRUE meaning of our time here on EARTH.
