I watched that show too. His name was Lou Smit. It certainly convinced me of the parents innocence. I found this online:

Agreed. I'm tempted to disbelieve her for some reason.

Livia - that is pretty creepy!

I just read the article on MSN, and has everyone already seen how creepy looking this guy is?

He is creepy looking, right? It's not just me? He looks like a mix of James Mason and the guy who played the pedophile in the movie "Happiness". I mean literally, if you mixed James Mason with that actor, you would get a guy that looks like this.

He IS creepy - but now all sorts of skeptics are creeping up - and there are some weird holes in his story...

So they're trying to determine if he's some sick wack-job obsessive - or if he's those things plus a murderer. I think it's already been determined 100% that he's a pedophile.

This whole thing is just crazy!

Like he's some freak who was completely obsessed with the case (like his ex said) but might not have anything to do with it? Wants notoriety? I guess it's possible (and very, very sick) but the cops have said he knew things tehre was no way he could have known unless he was involved.

Exactly, because he was oddly obsessed with this and Polly Klauss case. And now they're pointing out the inconsistencies. The one that I just read is that he claims he picked Jon Benet up from school the day he killed her, but it was Christmas - no school.

Also he said he drugged her, but the authorities claim there were no traces of drugs in her system

I'm not sure what he confessed to that the public doesn't know - so who knows. Either way he's obviously a sicko.

only other person I recall with such a mellon is Sen.John Kerry, whose mellon is so huge that it makes him appear to be Herman Munster's long-lost twin brother.

was used, and there's a match then they have their person...But according to what I just saw on my local news (From a reporter from Boulder) is that the officials are now starting to question if this admitance of guilt may be a sick hoax, this guy cannot be placed in Boulder at the time of her death and he skits the questions about his involvement, if at all, with the Ramsey family.

He said he drugged her, then raped her, but according to the autopsy reports she had no traces of any drugs in her system and the autopsy was inconclusive if a rape did happen.

Interesting stuff...
