Do you guys make your own concoctions too? Seems like a cool job. Do you get free ice cream? That would be sweet.

Good God I'd get SOOO fat. I'd end up on an all ice cream diet....I can't go into those places....too much temptation!

Yep, we do! It is a really good job, especially for someone who never finished high school. But I'm slowly starting to get bored with it... My concoction reccomendations are: Peppermint ice cream w/ Chocolate Chips mixed in, a Coconut shake or Birthday Cake ice cream w/ Sprinkles mixed in on a Skor cone We used to get free ice cream, too, but they just recently took that benefit away.

I'm not one of those who gains a tremendous amount of weight. But, even so, you, most likely, won't get fat off one, six-ounce ice cream per day... I go by the food guide, too, so that's only one serving of milk products, out of the two or three you should be having! Another thing that helps is, I only work for four hours and I take my ice cream home; I'm not in the habit of eating on the job, because I prefer to sit down while I eat

A podiatry assistant in what I like to call "FootWorld", I have been there 7 years as of next week...my anniversary . I enjoy my work most of the time (about 80%)! There are times (the other 20%) when it is a hectic day or I'm dealing with a patient or co-worker who are being an #$@#......need I say more! Then I want to wear the bumpersticker on me that says I'd rather be at a rock concert at that moment.

aaaand that's why we hate you. seriously I'm just kidding about that.....sort of....

I have found in the food industry that if you work at a certain restaurant, you end up not wanting the food. You really get tired of it after awhile. I worked at Wendy's when I was 16 for 2 years. I'm slowly working my way back. It was a VERY clean place, it's just....you can only have a spicy chicken sandwich and caesar salad for breakfast so many days in a row for so long.

I have never had that problem. In high school I worked at Arby's and Subway and never minded eating the food. Hell it was free! Then later on when I worked at a restaurant, I did get tired of some things. Only because they were so good and just wore them out. I would give anything to eat at the old restaurant I worked at. Actually scratch that, they have new owners and some of it is not the same.

yeah. I get that. I mean..people ask me "why...WHY"..all the time. Why did I quit my dental job to contribute to illegal stock trading. It just boils down to...well...money.

Trackaghost-Yes..I totally agree. And....when you have the kind of job we have, it definately has perks (or at least mine does..) like connections to the mob and so forth. So really you can have anyone taken out at a blink's notice.

^^ perfect!! That will give me a good excuse to go to London and you to come to.....er....Kentucky. Maybe we could meet in Nashville.

I also have another skill. With all the dental training I have..I can remove someone's 2 front teeth just by looking at them. I mean..not lethal, but come on-how do you explain your two front teeth just...missing. ?? by a chic??

It's really a gift.
