I'm also going to look into the Flax Seed Oil and coconut oil. Thanks, ya'll!

Oh and I love salmon.
Don't use the tylenol as a face mask every day, use it only 3 - 4 times a week, and use a good oil free moisturisor afterwards....

If I were you, I would drink nothing but water, and a minimum of two litres per day. I would even stop drinking milk! Drink soy milk instead.

Remember with the flax seed oil (and the coconut oil) that you will not see improvements overnight. I have been using the oil every day for about 2 years, and things are only just starting to look good - so its a long road, but if you stick on it, you will notice the difference.

Good Luck

I have not been to my favourite specialist for a while now - I only pop in every now and then to buy face wash and moistouriser (sp?). MY dermatologist was not so helpful - all she did was perscribe the drug and leave me, thank god for my other skin care specialist....

Hey! Thats a Libra New Zealander Skin Care Aware Young Gay Man!

You don't know how offended New Zealanders get when we are called Australian

Yes, my moisturisor (sp?) is sunscreen based - my skin specialist told me it is important for me to always wear sunscreen, as my skin was very fragile - even before accutane.....
Sorry! I was wrong about three things. My apologies. And thanks for the info.

My boyfriend makes me take oil supplements three times a day- we take the one that has borage, flaxseed, AND fish oil all in the same pill.

He also makes me take my vitamins. I just can't take anything with too much niacin because it makes me CRAZY. I mean, crazy. He didn't believe me so he made me take a niacin supplement a few months ago and I was up all night bouncing up and down on the bed and rubbing my knees and babbling. Don't know why I felt compelled to share.

Probably to help those of us who have been looking for a vitamin that makes us stay up all night bouncing and rubbing and babbling. It's like natural meth.
How weird, I've never heard of that. Makes me want to see if that would happen to me.

When I was a teenager, I had a really bad sports injury and pinched a nerve in my shoulder blade. The pain was horrific. One of the things the doctors had me do to quicken the healing was take potassium and niacin supplements. I have no clue why, I don't remember- but the first night I took them, I went NUTS. So we did potassium one night, niacin the next to see what was giving me that reaction, and it was the niacin.

It's awful. It's not fun. Aside from the crazy, it was just physically uncomfortable. I got the worst heat flashes. Ugghhhh.

Thanks for the tips! I have stopped drinking milk as it gives me stomach problems. I tried soy milk and don't like it at all. My grandmother gave me some chocolate soy milk one time and I liked that. Perhaps I need to get her brand or something.

I gotta stop drinking cokes and drink even more water.

Soy milk is vile - when its unflavoured. I drink either chocolate or vanilla, its much more pallitable that way

I disagree - Vitasoy plain is perfect. It is a little sweet anyway. A little. The flavored ones gross me out, and also have a much worse carb to protein ratio.

Mmh, I gathered that the flavoured soy are not as good for you as the plain soy milk, but I really cannot stomach it. We also have Vitasoy in New Zealand, and I really don't like it. Some brands taste better than others, but the plain soy is just hard to stomach for me.....

I didn't think NZ was a part of Aus, I just didn't know you lived in NZ. I realize they are separate and all.

Wow, that sucks. I love it, it's like a milkshake to me. But I don't really put extra sugar on anything, so....

blech. soy. Actually I like soy in lattes and stuff - so I like my coffee/espresso drinks made with soy.

But on cereal? It's just no good to me. My mom has been trying to convert me to soyism for years now - I just can't do it! I've tried flavored, plain etc - I just can't stomach it on my cereal, or with cookies - or with pancakes.

Oh good - nothing suprises me anymore when it comes to peoples knowledge of New Zealand. I was talking to someone online a while back who thought that black people were still made to sit at the back of the bus here, WTF??!!

I always have normal milk on my cereal, I cannot hack having soy milk on it I drink soy milk as a drink, and use regular milk in things like coffee and tea and cereals etc...
