September 30th: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert

Wow - all sounds like so much fun

Is Stevie at that Petty concert?

Hey, I don't spose you want to share that Billy & Stevie song with me, do ya?

Thats my favourite song as well - It is probably my favourite album of the year so far - I adore every song

I especially love the title track, "Beyond my Wildest Dreams" and "If This is Goodbye"!!!

I certainly can: Stevie Nicks Featuring Billy Burnette - Are You Mine (RAL Outtake)

Yeah well... if you lived here you'd be more than welcome to go with me.

Assuming I win the auction on these tickets (the concert is sold out), I'm going to have to con someone into going with me. I don't drive so I have to have an escort in order to get there, but the trouble is that my friends don't like the music I listen to.

Join the club. An old friend of mine just this second came in to see me, and I was listening to the Mark Knopfler and Emmlou Harris album, and she was like "Who is this?" and I told her, and she replied "Who is that?"

I think "If this is Goodbye" has taken over as my favourite track on the album - so sad

Of the all the friends I've dragged with me to concerts in the past, one's favorite band is tool, another likes dance music, and the third one has been on a Kelly Clarkson kick lately.

And they're all rather wary of accompanying me to shows after being tormented with teapot dances and vest solos.

I think she and Billy should team up again.

If This is Goodbye kills me. Geez, they're so good together!

I really laughed outloud at that one, and about half the customers in the store turned around and looked at me.

NP: Im now onto "Heathen" by David Bowie - One of my favourite albums of all time

Well, Billy worked with Christine or her last outing, so its possible that he could work with Stevie....

"If This is Goodbye" is typical Emmylou depressing stuff - how I love it so

Dude, shameful confession time: I don't have any solo Emmylou!! I have a gc for itunes, though, and that's probably what I'll use it on.
