Yeah - apples are almost a vegetable. Potatoes barely have nutritional value...
good try! too bad y'all didn't learn just a little bit more from the natives when you came over...

Great pics, Paula. I think we scrapped our camping this summer because of my friends lack of funds. I wish we were going. I'm so damn mad over it, but I understand. Wish I had another friend here who liked to camp as much as I do....

As far as the bacon goes. Damn, how do I love bacon? I used to take bacon, cream cheese and jalapano halves... stuff the halves with cream cheese, wrap them in bacon, put a toothpick through it and viola! Instant appitizers! I would take them up to the guys where Jason worked, and they loved me for it. Bacon wrapped cheese stuffed chicken breasts sound like heaven to me!

^ Yes it does to me too
We get our bacon from a local smokehouse, so it is just delicious!

I actually saw a cooking show (it was one of them ole 'Southern ones'..., the ones that usually have way too much lard and dumplings for me).
However, this one was good.
The Chef made apps. of fresh figs wrapped in bacon, or was it dates? Either way, they sure looked and sounded good to me----
Scallops in bacon, Portella mushrooms in bacon, cherry tomatoes in bacon, frenchtoast twists in bacon....oh the list is endless

How can someone not eat bacon?? It's it's, it's, Un- American!!
Just watch- next thing you know, Amber is going to be telling us she doesn't eat Spam either!! Geesch

You can borrow it, but you can't have it. I swear that shirt is 15 years old, it's the perfect camping shirt.

I don't mind sausage, but I have to be in the mood for it. Bacon I want all the time. And sometimes sausage can be scary - who knows what's in there? At least with bacon, I know it's all fat, baby!

S'okay. Save up for next year. We just bought a pop-up camper - perfect for Cedar Point. I'll bring the bacon wrapped cheese stuffed chicken.

This trip sounds like fun Paula and Sara...
Can I bring the scallops, and even more bacon?
....and stay in a nice hotel?

Or would that really not be in the spirit of "camping".
I'll use a flashlight in my hotel suite when I read under the covers.....

A Koozie is a cooler for your beer. The foam thingy you put it in to keep it cold in hot weather. Some of them are made of neoprene (wet suit material, I think that is what it is called).

A doozie is an accident, usually one in which you hurt yourself, and you looked silly because it was stupid.

I've got a koozie that says, "If all the world's a stage, I want better lighting." Remind you of anyone?

So in theory you could have a doozie with your koozie...

I think we just call 'em coolers. Not very interesting..

Thanks

My whacko sister in law. She took about 20 pics like that, with her foot in various poses. I deleted most of them.

A Koozie/coozie/coolie is one of those foam cup holders that's supposed to insulate your beer & keep it cold.

A doozie can be about a situation - "that's a doozie/tough one" or a person "what a doozie/piece of work he is!"

Now, a FLOOZY is an old, tired, worn out loose woman, most likely with bad hair, spike heels, low cut blouse & cigarette hanging from her lips.

Feeling WOOZY is feeling faint, dizzy, overheated.

Anything else, mate?
