Default Ledgie thank yous...

is there something you want to thank a Ledgie for...maybe introducing you to a new artist, a new thought or anything cool...

I'll go first.

Josh (dissention) - for introducing me to Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou
Hillary (GateandGarden) - for introducing me to Ani DiFranco
Michael (foxyluva) - for just tonight introducing me to Suzanne Vega
Paula (skcin) - for being such a cool chick...in general
Amber/Jason (strandinthewind) - for keeping my crazy diet/exercise ideas in check
Janet (jannieC) - for being a great friend
MacMan/Eliud - for keeping me on my toes with my signature pics
sparky/TheTower - for making me laugh hysterically and also being a breath of fresh bitch air once in a while

You are so sweet

I have to thank you, Jason, for reminding me in the Ledge's top 200 albums thread, that I needed that Anita Baker album (which I bought today )

Heck yeah! The picture in Brandon's sig is an outtake from that album's photography. It is (in my opinion) even better than "Red Dirt Girl" - you have to hear the track "Here I Am" - Emmy's best track ever

Actually - its only 3 p.m. in New Zealand at the moment, but I will be home at 8 p.m. so I will PM you the track if you would like

You will have it by the morning

And I will send you a couple of my favourite Joni Mitchell tracks - I almost died reading your post in the band face off thread - never heard Joni Mitchell before - absolute travesty

Well it's reassuring that you describe it as a "pleasure" to read, because it's been a friggin' pain in the ass to write.

Note to self: stick with SHORT stories in the future.

Ha

I think its fantastic - one of the best things I have read in a long time. The descriptive sex scenes make me want to keep on readin'

And I also have to thank you - this is my 1000th post

Heart Thank You

I am somewhat new here and don't stop in as often asd I should...but there are a few people I would like to thank, also...

Jason-for always being available to help me with anything graphic (I mean pictures, you pigs!...) and for his beautiful banners, which I so admire. As well as his sense of humor, and grace and style

Brandon- for alwys giving me a sweet boy from the midwest to pick on. From musical tastes to God...It just never stops

Miss Vicky- For her insightful posts, right to the point opinions, and devotion to her music

David- For his extremely intelligent, well written and truly thought provoking posts, and his vast knowledge of history and dates ...How old are you, anyway ??

Paula- For making me laugh, and just being a Girl's -Girl, (even though she has that "thing" for the gay men...) Also for starting some great threads!

Amber- For being all that you would expect a young-intelligent women to be...For being silly, at times- quite deep, at times- and very verbose (I can relate to the verbose part ---... )

Thrown Down-David- For knowing all things computer...of which, when I started, I knew nothing, and he helped me extensively.

Patti in RI- for always being true to Lindsey, and being such a fan, makinmg me laugh with her predictions of what Lindsey will be doing next...

And lastly to all the Moderators...for always knowing more about FM-Stevie-The band, than I think anyone else does.

I so enjoy being here-
Thanks to all for making me feel welcome...
OK enough mushy crap,

Back to the posts, rants, disagreements, open exchange of ideas, and opinion bashing...
That is what I'm all about

my pleasure. like Michael said...any book that makes me a little moist keeps my attention.

I can't wait to get into it again. I'm about to wrap up my editing of the other book and then will start on yours. in between, I'm reading Donna Tartt's first book, Secret History, all over again.

thanks dear. I try. this is the first time someone has actually appreciated my grace and my style. people normally know me for my sense of humor and diva-esque qualities. thank you for recognizing my VERY apparent style and grace.
