Do you realize HOW far backwards, that we bent over??????

The M*THERF*CKING promoter STIFFED US!!!!!
Little did he know that I also rent PA. Two weeks later, as it happened, I had rented out the main console for his show that day, to a friend of mine. I showed up 30 minutes before the show, found him, and said I need my band's money, NOW, or else I'm pulling this mixer outta here, and your show is DONE, buddy!!! He threatened me, but I said, "let's call a cop! I'll show him my receipt of ownership for this thing, and walk out the door with it!!!". He got my money, cussing me to my face, the whole time.
C*cksucker went out of business a couple months later.......
Moral of the story? Don't f*ck with Homie!

Not a big country music fan. Don't HATE it, just don't love it.

I interpreted "hot" as in cute-hot, too. Although Eddie Van Halen could fit into "hot" as in looks and "hot" as in chops back in the day.

Jack Johnson

Joe (DownOnRodeo)

My apologies to Joe if I've embarrassed him... but hot is hot, straight or not.

I still don't know how to post pics, but I'm hoping my Canadian gals can help me out here with backing the hotness of Ian Thornley, currently of the band Thornley (duh), formerly of Big Wreck. His hotness covers both the looks department as well as incredible guitar playing abilities. And his lyrics!!! Good God, that man is fantasmic!!

Okay, here's Ian Moore, George DeVore, Johnny Goudie and one more from Austin I remembered, Charlie Sexton!! He puts the sex in Sexton, baby, yeah!! He's also toured with Bob Dylan! Do a google image search on Charlie and prepare to drool! Check out his 80's hair, on the cover of SPIN, especially! LOL

The answer is...me!
The Chet Atkins Epiphone

...well we all know that's not true, but this Ledgie can hope! ha! Anyway...from a guy's standpoint, I always thought that Lisa Loeb was hot for a guitar playing chick. To be honest, never saw a female guitar player that "blew me away"...although Nancy Wilson is decent, and that cutie pie from The Donnas as well.

Oh, Jeff Buckley.. why'd you have to die on us?

:[

Uh.. I know he's just rythm and all? But seriously?

Sup Robin Zander. Rawr.

I've had a crush on Joe Strummer for as long as I can remember.

I guess it's that whole punk asthetic he had going on. He was awesome. Rest in peace, man. <3

Keith Richards *was* kinda hot for a while there.

Or maybe I have a thing for junkies. YOU DECIDE.

And, as a female guitar-player myself, I've developed a girlcrush on Chrissie Hynde.

I think it's because she could kick my ass. And very few people could do that.

^^^^^I don't know if Robin Zander counts as a "guitarist." Now if we're going to get into hot front men and amazing singers, then yeah, I can see that . I think he's actually an underrated vocalist. Have you heard the new Cheap Trick? I'm intrigued but haven't had a chance to listen to it.

He plays rythym. That counts to me. See, I think there's a big difference between "guitarist" and "guitar player." I think that a guitarist is like, a master of the instrument (I cannot make this sound *not* perverted), whereas a guitar player can play the basics, but isn't really.. Jimmy Page-level, I guess. And this thread is entitled "hottest guitar player," so, yeah. Who am I kidding, I just needed an excuse to look at a picture of Robin Zander. :P

But, I mean, seriously, I'd rather look at him than Rick Neilsen.

[shudder]

I haven't heard the new Cheap Trick in its entirety yet, but I really like what I *have* heard so far. I'm probably going to see them later this month, so I want to pick it up soon. That and Thom Yorke's solo album.

Speaking of Thom Yorke/Radiohead, hellllooooo, Johnny Greenwood!

I saw Cheap Trick a couple of years ago here in Austin. They played a small club and so we were all packed in like sardines but sh*t, what an AMAZING show they put on, I'm not kidding, they ROCKED!! I danced all night, seriously, it was one of the funnest and livliest shows I've ever been to, bar none. You will have a blast. I still have the guitar pick Rick Nielsen flicked in my face too . Oh yeah, that's another thing, watch out for flying guitar picks. The man has a million running up and down his mic stand.
