Hollywood Bowl On Sale & Presale Dates Moved

Dear Fans,

The on-sale and presale dates for tickets to the Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles HAVE CHANGED.

The concert is still scheduled for Sept. 26.

Highway Companions Club members are invited to a ticket presale on Tuesday, July 18 at 10 a.m. PT.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Sunday, July 23 at 10 a.m. PT.

And I'm praying for a Van Morrison/Petty collaboration at ACL - seeing as Tom's been alternating between Gloria and Mystic Eyes for encores. Van is playing ACL 2 days before Tom, and currently doesn't have anything else scheduled, according to his official website.

i think somthing might be up with the LA date.
My guess is that they're trying to keep a day open for a possible 2nd show.

Hopefully it's not a conflict with Stevie's schedule....

I am a member of the Highway Companions club, and didn't get an email about the Berkeley show, but I did just get an email about the Holywood Bowl change in presale. Thank you Nicks Fan, for posting, because I might have missed this otherwise!

I am going to try for the tickets at the Greek, in Berkeley, and if I don't get any, then I will go for the Hollywood Bowl show - with boots on! I was hoping for San Jose (closer) but it doesn't look like that will happen.

awww, lucky. I can't get mine until the Friday radio presale, hopefully there will still be hella, hella good seats. We should meet up.

I'm still reeling that Stevie will be appearing at the Greek, it's a miracle to me. Great smaller venue, my house a 10 minute bike ride away...*sigh*

YES it is!!!

God I'm hoping the San Diego gig is for real!!! Not because it's so close to my home, but because it's always so friggin' hard to get decent seats for LA shows.

does anyone know if stevie will be at the august 16 and august 18 shows? (burgettstown and camden)? i've seen articles saying she's joining the third leg of the tour, but then i saw another which said she'll continue to join him at all the shows for the rest of the tour. but i'm not sure that was correct (i think the reporter just got the "third leg" thing messed up).

those would be my only 2 chances to see them... so i'm hoping...

I DO know that she is scheduled for a haircut and placenta conditioning on the 16th, Karen and her have back-to-back appointments with their reflexologist then a meeting with stevie's accountant on the 17th, and finally a teeth whitening on the 18th (I would assume in preparation of Tom's third leg)...so, I don't know if she'll be playing those shows. She is a bizzay bee.

I was thinking of going to the Hartford show on Aug 12th but I only want to go if Stevie is going to be there. I hope that we get to find out what shows she will be at soon.

was that really necessary?

i just thought if there was anyone who'd been following the tour more closely than i that they might know. i haven't been around here much lately, and haven't been able to keep up with the articles and developments; was just looking for some help.
