WARNING: Ebay seller alert.

I by no means am asking any of you to jump on my bandwagon. Always 2 sides to a story, however, I have ALL emails back and forth between this seller & I w/ nothing to hide. I won an item 5/25, yet to receive it, asked for money back, they didn't, but said item would ship 6/19. Get an email today saying items sent today. I email back saying this is ridiculous, it's either sent or not, and if not, refund my money. It escalates, gets ugly, but the last dig from seller was racial. I w/ a mouth like a trucker actually used NO language w/ her, and she comes back being 150% wrong, and ends on a racial note...thinking she is speaking to my Lebanese husband, not knowing she's speaking to a white girl.

The seller: thelanyardconnection

This may be considered slander bringing it to a board, but the real case in point is God forbid any of you don't have a "white" sounding name, could make trouble buying Stevie Nicks photo's. Unbelievable!

OMG thats AWFUL! What a BITCH!! Anyway thanks for the advice...will watch out for them or maybe send them some abusive e-mails

HA! Thanks for that! You know, I generally do not handle issues well, but I kept it cool, apologetic, understanding, etc. and this is the pay back I get for being nice for a change. lol It's the whole "stranger online" complex where they think they can give you a what for that they wouldn't DARE do to someone face to face, but I fear this individual is that backwoods that they would. YIKES!

I had a similar problem with a seller a while back -- got it sorted thank goodness -- but it's really annoying and thanks for the heads up.

Good luck in getting it sorted out.

And what's more, that my husband pointed out, had it really BEEN him making the transaction, the seller had no problem accepting pymt from a "foreigner" putting it delicately, but when things go sour..... ok, enough. Thanks all for letting me vent. Really it did get my goat as the seller put it. Bragging in fact that she had "gotten my goat" w/ the racist comments.

had a problem with a non FM CDR one time. The seller swore it was NOT a bootleg and was a commercial release. When I got the disk it was CDR bootleg. I com[laied but was smart enough to hang onto the merchandise and bit return it to the seller and told the jerk to leave me alone and tjey kept emailing me and I told him to leave me alone or I would turn him in for selling CDR boots. I finally had to turn it into ebay then the games playing started from that jerk. Oh he was gonna have ebay raise legal charges against me for "trying to rip HIM off" and turn me into the RAIA as well. And I got all these crying emails that said that he would not be able to feed his family if ebay shut hom down. They did and he got a new account and is still selling CDR boots as licensed work. I will let you know tomorrow or friday when I have had time tp look it up. sorry about the typos

i am so sorry to hear about this, i am a huge ebayer & hate that there are people out there that ruin the fun of it~ may she rot!!!

I can't find the sellers name from back then but it was something like darkhorse457. Dpesm't matter years later. my point is that a seller can get shut down for violating the sale of bootlegs and just get a new member account and keep on rripping people off.

I feel very badly that this happend to you Anita. I hope this person is permanently banned from Ebay!

Thanks David. As it is, another Ledgie here had the same problem, and it just completely backs me that there are some bad apples in the barrel. LOL I think the other Ledgie got it straightened out, but still why must we go thru this kind of crap??? Talk about taking the fun out of something.

As for those that sell boots, one can only hope they find good traders like 99% of the Ledgies to help them avoid the other issues posted here!

The reason I said what I did is that I find you to be a very straight shooter that doesnt tolerate BS. A very good quality.
