They are called "bathtub Madonnas" I have never seen one in person, but my friend wanted to name his band the Bathtub Madonnas. Here is a Wkipedia link with photo:

I've seen a few. There are lots of old Polish people in my neighborhood & they seem to really like to do this. Not trying to seterotype, my family is full of old Polish women. Sadly, none of them have a bathtub Madonna...
