Seriously. Put that bitch in a public classroom in inner city Rochester, or rural New Mexico - she'd be literally eaten alive by those kids. Public school teachers DO face many hardships - my sister is a public school teacher.

I don't even want to know what that psycho has to say about it. It's going to be a big steaming pile to poo anyway.

I wish the networks would quit giving Ann airtime. It's all a bunch of sensationalist bull****. Shun the f*ckers, then they'll disappear, but please quit giving them airtime. Douchebags! .

I was pretty much thinking the exact same thing. She'd go in there thinking she's an honest, cool, give-it-to-you-straight badass with a heart of gold who will teach those kids a thing or two, and she would not last one week.

I'd give her a day. Or half a day with inner city kids

OK, if her point is that the Dems are using these women as tools to help their own agenda, why doesn't she just say that? Why does she have to call the women names & accuse them of enjoying the fact that their husbands are dead?

Oh wait, that wouldn't be contraversial enough. Not enough TV time & media attention if she had said what her point actually was.

Okay, so I hate that I'm posting about Ann Coulter, because I think the best way to deal with her is to completely ignore her. She obviously thrives on attention, positive or negative, which is why every few months she has to say something more outlandish than before.

She is either crazy and believes what she says, or (much more likely), she has made a calculated career decision to be as much of a lightening rod as possible in order to sell her zillion crappy books per year that she cranks out.

Now, if the Democrats were savvy, which they are not, they would steal a page from the successful rightwing political playbook and make this much bigger than just issuing a press release chastizing Coulter.

Instead, they should never miss an opportunity to refer to the Republican Party as the "party of 9-11 widow bashing Ann Coulter and assassination advocates Pat Robertson". The rightwing has done a great job creating an image of liberals and Democrats using tactics like this.

Senator Clinton shouldn't waste press releases giving attention to Coulter, nor should the Today Show give her one second of publicity.

Exactly, this bitch is a mere media sensation...not to be taken seriously at all. I'm telling you, shunning her is where it's at!

I'm not really defending anyone.. just defending the point she was trying to make, which i think was a rather good one.. and yes you are correct some republicans are just as guilty of the same thing. Still a good point i thought..

Umm.. I have lots of friends and family who are public school teachers as well..

It's hard to list everything she speaks of on the subject.. but lets just put it this way.. she is not a fan of the public school system. (and neither am i for that matter.. )

oh i def. agree.. that is her "way" of doing things.. and often it hurts her because she does have some great points at times, but they are often overlooked due to the sometimes crazy things she says along with them.

Sometimes crazy is a pretty mild way of putting it, in my opinion. Saying that anyone is enjoying their husband's death is despicable to begin with, but to apply it to anyone who lost a loved one in the 9/11 tragedy is unconscionable.

The irony is that Coulter thinks she is so pro-American and freedom, but instead personally attacks four women most affected by 9/11 for using their right to free speech. She doesn't take on their arguments, she takes them on personally for how they chose to channel their grief.

She really is less than human, whether it's calculated or not.
