It would have been nice if the disc featured songs that haven't been on a half dozen (or so) live albums and compilations:
Eyes of The World Peacekeeper Second Hand News Say You Will Come Gypsy Say Goodbye What's The World Coming To Beautiful Child Gold Dust Woman Stand Back World Turning Goodbye Baby bonus tracks: Sara Red Rover I Know I'm Not Wrong Destiny Rules Running Through The Garden Don't Let Me Down Again

This may have more to do with GoldWave (which I use to edit my mp3's) as they played fine on my Music MatchJukebox after I ripped them. Any advice on this? Should I bump them up to like 38 or so? They're not that much slower, as it's listenable, but I'd just prefer to make it them same speed is all (I'd liken it to the slow Gypsy on the Best Buy Tour '97 CD). John |

Agree. The cd is a joke. I only listen to SS (only to hear "still, I am a fool) and SB. It seems it was an after thought, or no thought, or for the casual fans again. It doesn't make any sense. I so wish there was a Q & A with Lindsey sometime, we could ask him, "Lindsey, who the f**k picked the track listing for the LIB cd? cause it sucks!

Stand Back is totally worth it, but I always skip through the long ass intro.
Listening to stuff like Dreams or Rhiannon just make me annoyed. I'd be beating a dead horse if I once again mentioned why... or should I say who.. makes me hate those versions.

about this release is the packaging. The bonus audio disc was somewhat glued to the inside of the digi-pack, So when I was able to finally remove it (After carefully prying it out of the packaging) I had to remove gum/glue residue from the disc before it was playable.
The bonus audio disc now resides in a soft-sided cd sleeve within the digi-pack of this release (Which I watched only twice...Once to extract the audio portion and another time to put both discs on one DVD, And man was I ever bored silly by the lifeless performance). |

The only tracks worth buying on that CD as far as I was concerned were "Eyes Of The World" (which would have been a kick arse opener) and "Stand Back," though I could have done without the long percussion solo at the beginning.
"Rhiannon" was okay with the "different arrangement" which was mostly dumping the piano and vocal stuff at the beginning, but it wasn't exactly exciting stuff. "Dreams" is just bleh these days. "Landslide" is played out. "Silver Springs" is just eh. I just don't care much for "Come," though I wish they hadn't lifted the solo from The Dance and stuck it into the Live in Boston version because, to me, a big part of the charm of the Say You Will tour's renditions of "Go Your Own Way" was the resulting imperfections that came from Lindsey letting people play his guitar during the song. I really wish they hadn't dropped "Destiny Rules" and they had it on the CD instead of one of Stevie's phone-it-in numbers. I also wish they had "Beautiful Child" and probably some other stuff that Stevie did a bit better. Hell, I wouldn't have minded if they'd put "Don't Stop" on there with Stevie singing Christine's parts. They should have done the video and the CD(s) separately. And certainly give us more than 10 tracks people! This isn't the vinyl days!

So is the dumping of the piano & vocal intro the extent of it? is that all people mean by it?
