Which is weird, because my new phone is really slow to hang up and redial. I got to choose from Bruce Hornsby (blergh), Springsteen, and Calexico at the Fillmore.

Of course, I'm sure they'll be lawn. But still. Isn't he doing the weird acoustic tour thingy right now? That will be cyool.

I'm a huge fan of some of Bruce's work, but not all. I had forgotten what Calexico was, so I couldn't choose them.

Okay, for TISL tour, I won Stevie Shoreline tickets. I didn't know when I called, but the contest was whoever was the best at singing a Stevie song.
Then later, I won the reissue set (TUSK, FM, RUMOURS) and Say You Will tickets. They were lawn so I sold them, but still.
Then the ipod, now this.
I feel like there's one I've forgotten.

A smart Springsteen fan knows that he'll be able to buy good tickets in the parking lot the day of the concert for way below face value, assuming he hasn't bought any already. Still plenty of lawn seats available on Ticketmaster. (Some idiot seems to think he can get $850 on eBay for third row seats. Surprise, surprise, nobody's bid anything, with six hours left to go.)

Not that that diminishes the coolness of winning tickets from the radio. But go and enjoy the show (and bring a barn dance partner); you wouldn't be able to make very much money trying to sell the tickets.
