I understand about the dog thing, butfrom a medical standpoint it was odd & a bit unprofessional that she brought it up in the middle of the work day. During lunch, on a break, after work, it's all good. But when you're in the middle of seeing/treating/evaluating patients? Makes her seem like a flaky idiot.

Oh you wound me, Amber, I really like Dr. Burke. I think he is quite the hottie. I do think he will survive it, I can't see them killing him off. At least I hope not.

I'm not too crazy about Callie, I can definitely see her going postal over Meredith. I think George is way too nice for her.

I like this show a lot - but part 1 really disappointed me. It's like they saw how popular the post-SuperBowl bomb episode was, so they sat around some conference table and said, "You know what would be great for the finale? A crazy restaurant worker with a gun!" And it's not like we couldn't see it coming after they announced in the first few minutes of the show that Petey the Shooter got away, and knowing it would be a 3-part finale.

But maybe that's more a comment on the whole May Sweeps process than the show - I understand they're still trying to build an audience - it's just that I *really* liked the show (the characters mostly) even before they started with the big stunts.

And a question: What's up with the lawsuit against Addison that Alex is supposedly helping with? I missed one episode a few weeks ago, and they haven't mentioned it since it was announced.

^ A patient wanted her tubes tied after her C-section without her hubby knowing. Addison agreed, falsified documentation about non-existent complications, forsing her to tie her tubes. Alex told hubby to find a lawyer, cuz these comps don't happen during C-sections.

I saw the tube-tying episode, but missed the next one (or maybe the one after - it was that weird few weeks where GA and DH were alternating repeats and new episodes).

So - nothing else has been said about the lawsuit? I just hate it when shows do that.

Are we to assume that Addison is making Alex be her grunt so he'll see her side and not assist the husband with the lawsuit?

And that story last night about the brain-dead pregnant woman was horrible. I'd never really considered that situation before. The mother aside, how would the baby develop mentally in a basically silent womb?

My heart is breaking. I think we all knew Denney's fate. But it still really broke my heart. Even if it was Izzy's fault. You could feel the love between them. I wonder if Izzy really quits, or if she'll be back next season.

I'm glad they didn't kill Preston off. It was almost nice to see Yang get a soul, but I hope she get's over it real quick!!! haha- if she get's nice now, it will kill her character's charm. I like the raw, bitchy Yang.

Meredith and McDreamy. I'm not terribly suprised. Even though Addison started it, I feel sorry for her. I think Derrek will leave her next season, and Meredith will not give him the time of day. They kind of left us by a string...

OK. I'm rambling almost thoughtlessly. I'm tired as hell. This episode wore me out emotionally. I'm going to bed.
