I cannot even tell you what this song is about, what it sounds like or why I hate it because I have ALWAYS skipped it! I have NEVER, EVER listened to that song all the way through. That first note, makes me cringe! To add insult to injury, the video's of her singing it from that horrible 80's Stevie with the big hair and big shoulder pads make me projectile vomit and that it is why I voted for that

I have both. I'm afraid I didn't notice the differences between the album versions and the TimeSpace / Enchanted remixes until I was told they were there... and I've never since taken the time to check them out. I will do that, though. Thanks!

No problem at all. I'm a bit of an "alternative versions" geek... I dig various mixes/remixes and so forth.

I don't know what it is, but I like the song... I don't really know what's she's talking about, but I'll stick my neck out and support it.

And I like the video too - which alot of people seem to not like too much.

It's probably my least favourite song on TOSOTM but it has some of my favourite lyrics, the best being "when I want something, I get it!"

I'm a fan of the remix too. The drums are way up front, which is great. Hell, it's big production. But perfectly acceptable for a song about a whole lotta trouble . It should sound big.

The strangest thing about WLT is that Stevie doesn't know how to sing it live. She always confuses the lyrics, usually mixing up the two verses. I have yet to hear a live performance where she actually remembered the words to the entire song!

I like this song partly due to the fact that the horns single it out from everything else on TOSOTM. It doesn't sound like the other "airy fairy" stuff. It is fairly sluggish but it has a certain sort of power, similiar to what "Doing the Best That I Can" has. I also like the lyrics and I think it works well live. Stevie did an especially rockin version of it when she played it at Radio City Music Hall on the Enchanted Tour. She does a very cool almost speaking in tounges thing at the end.

Are you sure I said that, Justin? I might have said she could get away with performing it in a "best of"-type set, since it was included on 'Timespace'... but I can't imagine saying that I was hoping she would. And I also really can't imagine saying that I'd want the video playing on the screen behind her, too. Why have a live video (and not a good one at that) playing behind a live performance?

I like it.

It's not exactly deep and poignant - and it definitely sounds dated - but it's lyrically a pretty straight forward song (none of that mystical bull**** Stevie likes so much) and something you can rock out to.

I don't like it very much, but then again I 'm not very fond of late-80's Stevie in general. Strangely enough, Rooms on Fire is one of my favorite Stevie songs.
