... in order
Erotica Bedtime Stories Like A Prayer All the rest? I hardly listen to them in their entirety. "Madonna" is classic Madonna however, those versions run too long. The edits that ended up on "The Immaculate Collection" are much better. "Like A Virgin"? Actually, I do enjoy that whole album but I'd have to be in an 80's mood to hear that. Love me some "Angel" and "Shoo Be Do." "True Blue" is actually pretty good too, but I really did not like her image during the 86-87 era. "Love Makes The World Go 'Round" is a forgotten gem. "Like A Prayer" is what made me a Madonna fan. Love "Express Yourself", "Keep It Together" and "Promise To Try" is very beautiful. Love all the tracks from both Erotica and BS. "Ray Of Light" eh, never got into the "enlightened" Madonna. I enjoyed "Music" better but not by much. To this day, I still do not have the "American Life" CD, but I have liked all of the singles I've heard, AL, Hollywood, Love Profusion, Nobody Knows Me and Nothing Fails. I have a feeling I'd really like the CD. Oh, and I love the mixes on the 9 track CD that came after it. The name escapes me right now. And as far as COAD, there are some gems. My favorites are "Jump" and "Forbidden Love." But the CD as a whole, eh, I find it too heavy.

Don't forget Causing A Comotion too. It went to #2 and had no video. Hanky Panky never had a video either and it went to #10.
Yeah growing up in Nashville Angel was a HUGE radio staple well into the early 90s. I heard that on the radio growing up more than LAV and Material Girl. Borderline always got the most play off the 1st album. (In Nashville) Cherrish got the most play from LAP. |
