Default What does Lindsey yell 3:49 into "World Turning"?

This has been nagging me for a long time now. Is it "look at me go!", "let her go!", or "little girl!" or something else? And why is it there?

I've always heard it as "keep it up" (to Mick, meaning to not slow down or stop). It's a pretty big clue as to the studio version of "World Turning" being recorded basically "live in studio"...and in a bit of a rush, since "flaws" like that wouldn't be tolerated by Lindsey very long after that.

interesting, i've always heard "pick it up" since mick seems to increase the tempo just slightly. could go either way, though.

Now that you mention it, "pick it up" seems more like it.

To me, it's always sounded like an excited yelp -- not actual words.

I think he dropped his joint & told Stevie "pick it up!"

Seriously, I never noticed this before. Will listen for it.

Question

Wow, I never even noticed this before. I just whipped out the iPod & listened twice. I can't swear to it, but I thought he said, "Wake me up!"
