Default INXS..-JD rocked the house

Inxs played last night to a sold out crowd..in fact security had to work double time to try and stop some from sneaking in..
The crowd were on their feet counting the seconds to homeboy came out on stage..and once he hit the stage,I don;t think most of the crowd ever sat back down..JD and the boys really rocked..That boy drips with sex appeal..yum...and who knew one playing with a microphone stand could be such a turn on..whoo hoo..Move over Mick ..JD the Nova Scotia lad is taking over..
Security was really tight..and they were being anal about cameras..so I was only able to get a couple ,as I made my way to back stage..had to sorta blend in with the crowd on the way..But anyway..if you like INXS ..I think you will really enjoy the show...

They are still a good band..really..I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy their music ..but after seeing them last night I need to dig out my old cds...
JD Fortune took Michael's place David..Inxs the remaing band members had a reality tv show last year to find a replacement singer..(something along the lines of American Idol) and a lad from Nova Scotia Canada won..and I have to say I am really impressed with him..I had watched the tv show and then seeing him up close and performing last night..Wheeww..I marched right in and told my boss I was terribly upset with him.. Of course I told him ,because I wasn;t working JD's dressing room... I had to work with the drummer..sniff sniff...But seriously the lad moves across that stage and into the crowd like he has been performing for years.... Its a must see show

Arrow Moon...

I am going to see them in June in Houston...maybe Austin too, but definitely Houston. I would go see them in Dallas, but my mom wouldn't be interested and I don't know if my friend would wanna see them. Maybe I should ask her, huh? LOL

Anyways, great pics, glad you got a few. I despise camera Nazis.

Whoa, wait a sec, you got to work with Jon Farriss? I LOVE that guy! Lucky you!!!
Anyway, I got good tix for their show here in Calgary at the end of the month and I'm looking forward to it. Inxs was my favourite band for the longest time (before FM took the honoured top spot) so really, it wouldn't matter who was singing, I just wanna see those guys play.

Question

So Moonchilde, where did you see them at? I liked the old INXS, but I'm not sure about this INXS. I mean, I saw Rock Star & I saw JD win, but he wasn't my favorite & he seemed kind of stuck on himself, you know, kind of conceited & that everyone was beneath him. I'm still on the fence about them. He is so much younger than the rest of the members of the band.

Nice pics though.

JD's a hottie, no doubt about that. Glad you had fun! That Rock Star show got me listening to my old INXS cds again.

Yeah, I got sick of that song during Rock Star, but it sure is catchy.

Lee I saw them on Monday night in Moncton NB..and Tuesday night in Halifax Nova Scotia..He is alot younger then the rest of the guys.but somehow they seem to all just fit ...He really made it a point to show his love for them ..and putting the spotlight on them..Last nights show was incredible..being as JD was performing in the province he comes from..He seemed pretty down to earth to me ,but most maritimers are ..so hopefully he won;t let the stardom go to his head to much..

Okay, so I just saw INXS last night and it was a fantastic show!

I was skeptical, I'll admit at first, as I was a major fan during the Kick/X era. J.D. was in a leg brace as he was in an accident that day, but still hit the stage and turned it out. I was on my feet the entire time, singing and carousing like the ass that I am. I finally got to see my first favourite band (yes, before FM) and even without the Hutch, it was a fantastic show. Go see it if you have the chance!

From everyone I know who has gone to see this, they say the show kicksass. I am happy to read that Moonchilde, RED have gone and that Christy will be. Christy, if JD isn't in a photo with you, I will say I may have a bit of disappointment, as you have a way of caputuring yourself with some hotties!! JD is a must!
