I remember it like it was yesterday. Driving to Cleveland overnight from Minneapolis to pick up my friend Debbie in CLeveland to head down to Columbus Ohio for the beginning of an incredible year and a half magic carpet ride. I'll never forget the anticipation as Debbie and I settled intoour Value City Arena seats and the lights went down.

Ladies and geltleman, would you
please give a warm welcome to

Fleetwood Mac!

Aww, that's awesome.

For me, it's my friend's one year wedding anniversary, and I haven't really seen her since that day. So yeah...thinking about that.

TOTALLY off topic.

Cool memory.

Just curious, was there actually an announcer at every concert that said... "Ladies and Gentleman, please give a......"

I don't recall ever hearing it at the shows I went to. hmmm.

I believe John Courage used to do it.

Courage used to do it, but then something weird happened in 1982. Someone else did it--an American this time. But who?

Who is the mystery announcer on the Mirage Tour?

Courage was back to work on the 1987 tour.

I actually sort of met John on the Dance tour in Cincinnati. I recognized him by the stage and went up and said hello and shook his hand. He's VERY tall. I'd guess about 6'4
