For Penguin Discography: # artist before calling V/A package?

We need to set up some firm guidelines on how many different featured artists need to be on a package before it is considered a "various artists" package.

Items like the FM/CM "Albatross" album:

...& the FM/PG "Alone with the blues" album:

...might not be considered enough because there's only 2, but then there are the FM/DK MOTW singles:

http://discog.fleetwoodmac.net/discog.php?pid=998

...that some may feel should be considered V/A? I dunno.

Then, there's the "History of rock Vol 12" album:

http://discog.fleetwoodmac.net/discog.php?pid=334

...which has 4.

So what do you think? Is 2 enough, is 4 enough? Should it go by a % of recordings?

There are items that could be argued to be V/A items like the Eric Clapton "Crossroads" box but I think something like that could just be left as is but if you guys want the V/A sorting group tag to be attached to such a package then just say so & again as long as it's not just a few people saying so then we'll consider attaching it to those kinds of items as well.

I'll just go with artists #'s on the poll options but post here if you think it should be a limit different to the options.

Thanks! I know not much has changed there in a while but that's just because I'm kind of in a holding pattern right now until we can get these things resolved. Looking forward to tidying up thess remaining issues though in the meantime.
