Default poor old Keith
Oh dear Keith Richards is in the wars..he's landed himself in an NZ hospital after falling out of a palm tree in Fiji.. silly beggar, what was he doing there in the first place? Apparantly he and Ronny Wood were climbing (maybe they were racing!!) and he fell off. Got himself concussed a bit. Hope he's ok... but I do admit, it gave me a bit of a chuckle reading it on the news.

I had a chuckle to myself as well but seriously, I hope he is okay. I heard that he is staying in a Remuera hospital (Remuera is one of the most expensive/prestigious places in Auckland) so he is in good hands.

Climbing palm trees at 62... What a dude...

Its just the sort of childish and stupid thing I approve of. Especially in your 60's. I hope I can be as idiotic at his age.

As much as I love Keith, I laughed for about two minutes when I heard this story. What's even funnier, though, is that this isn't even close to being the weirdest thing to happen to him.

I heard this on the news. Still trying to figure out why he was climbing a palm tree. Maybe one too many. I've heard that he just got a concussion. He's lucky it wasn't more serious.

Toxicology tests found the beach was suffering from mild alcohol poisoning and was kept in hospital overnight. The tree was released without treatment.

Seriously, he is in what I call perma tweak mode in that he could get off of everything for a year and if he did not die from the shock, he'd still be tweaked

Im sorry to hear that. I thought it must be serious if they flew him over to NZ for treatment.
