I have a qualification in Psychology but never went any futher with it.. It was all too heavy duty for me to be bothered with for a career.. Some of it comes back in my mind now and again and it helps to understand some human behaviour But as I've learned very recently not all of it!

I have a Bsc...

No, I'm not a Bachelor of Science but I do have a Bronze Swimming Certificate!

I did my Junior Cert[ificate] last year and I'm doing my Leaving Cert in two years' time [ie. graduate high school].

After that I want to study Psychology. I don't know what area I want to go into but I hope there are decent jobs.... It's so hard to decide, you know?

Be prepared to go to graduate school if you want to work in the field of Psychology. There is literally nothing in the field of Psychology that you can do with a BS.

A year and a half of community college, and a year of graphic design school. The latter left me completely devoid of any artistic desires. I would love to paint/draw again, but it's not something I'll ever pursue as a career.

Thanks. There will be no all-nighters if I have anything to do with it. I always wanted to be a Psychologist, but I was not interested in going to college when I graduated HS, and I was not pushed by my folks to do it. Since I work for a pharmaceutical company, I plan on getting an associates in biotechnology. That would qualify me as a lab tech. Which, if your good at what you do in my company, the only way to go is up. I would really like to get my bachelors in chemistry. Then I would be a chemist there. Then I would get the big bucks......

I went ahead and chose "Doctoral" though that won't be completely true until June 3 when I officially get my MD. Tomorrow is my VERY LAST DAY of medical school EVER!

Ah, then a 2 month break and the dreaded residency (anesthesiology) begins...4 more years. I swear I don't think this is ever going to end, but I keep trying to think about the future. What BLOWS MY MIND, is that I've been out of high school for 8 years now...I still look (and oftentimes act) like I'm 18! I'm getting more and more nervous by the day but also equally excited. We'll see...

Brad

Exclamation Hmmm...

High School grad 1988
Tech/College grad 1989 & 1991 (1989 Associates in Applied Science in Drafting/1991 Associates in Applied Science in Quality Control & Non-Destructive Testing)

Could/should go back to school, But I become bored very easily nowadays...So for now I will pass until I can stay more focused (Though if I do get the urge to hit the books again, It will be after the legal issues with my Mother's death are settled.)
