Default Flashing Fierceness of Wisdom - What is the Best Thing Stevie Has Ever Said?

ALL-righty I thought this could be an interesting thread -

What is the BEST thing that Stevie has EVER said? ( Wisest, most profound, most helpful to you personally, etc. ) Either in a song, an interview, a journal entry, w/e, it's all good.
I have my own opinion already but I'm curious to see what others might say about this first. . . . .

Also, another time she said, "We are such stuff as dreams are made on." I. Was. Quite. Impressed.

But the wisest thing she ever said was, "There is no beauty/Without my beast."

Maybe you never knew me
Maybe you thought that I'd never
CHANGE
But you know I'm changing and
YOU'RE WRONG

is very fitting at this point in my life

but my profoundest thing ever, coz I think it is true
and it's totally what I believe

'I love people that are really themselves and go right on being themselves no matter what anybody tells you because, you know, in the long run, you are going to be with yourself.'

My favourite Stevie line ever is "If you f@#k with my people, I am going to get very f#@$%ng angry!" - I hope that is right.

Don't forget about the "if Lindsey and I explode into a mass of timbers, at least the album will be done and thats all that matters" or words to that effect in the DR dvd.

At the RAL concert, just before she did HAEWYFY, she said something along the lines of how much she loved us and how she wished she could sit down with us individually and hang out and talk because we were her WHOLE LIFE. My father had just died and that song was really powerful for me, so when she said all that, I just burst into tears.

Something about this lyric gets me everytime. So much imagery that let's me go somewhere else in my mind:

Step into the velvet of the morning
Let yourself lay back within your dreams

Let yourself LIE back within your dreams, Stephanie!!

Personally, I think "step into the velvet of the morning" is a Stevie metaphor for masturbation.

well on a funny note, I loved it when Stevie was on Jay Leno promotiong TISL and when Jay asked her paper or plastic, she said "If I ever went to the market, I would say cash".....then....."no no, I was no inspired by the OJ trial"

Nice, David. What is this, Confessions of a Dirty Mind?

I could almost see that except for the next 2 lines:
Take on the situation but not the torment
Now you know its not as bad as it seems

No, no....it's just that I believe that Stevie has been weakly misread, & that out of this misprision the steamily rubescent sexuality in her songs has been marginalized. I'd like to see critical analyses of that aspect of her art, to bring the erogenous zone to the center, as it were--similar to the way Camille Paglia strongly misread Emily Dickinson & restored Emily's vampirism, voyeurism, lesbianism & fetishism. Stevie is our modern-day DICKinson, I believe.

Well maybe that part came from an adjoining or unrelated page in her journal.
