Wow, your mother sounds like she was really cool! How old was she when she had these cars? My mom used to drive a 1972 Buick Skylark convertible and I used to take it to high school. Lets just say, I was quite popular!

mid 30's when she owned her muscle cars...She used to drive my oldest brother to high school in her '76 TA, And my brother's friends were interested to know "Who is that groovy chick that drove ya to school" (This occurred about 1979-1980) and he had to tell 'em "That's my Mom"

That car is smoking hot. A friend has one (of many actually) and you can recognize that engine's growl from a mile away.

My dad has a '71.... it's in pieces in the garage. I'll have it restored when he's dead! (at least, that's the joke between us!)

Oh, it's loud? Yuck. I might be able to get over it, but I hate loud cars. I guess you've ridden in it, then? How was it? *drool* - I'd love to drive that thing like a (relative) bat out of hell on some of the superwindy scenic roads around here....mmmm....

Yeah my new boss has got one (so far in the past 7 days I've seen him in this, his Ferrari 550 Maranello and his Lamborghini Diablo). I know which I prefer to drool on.

The F430 is my favorite car, it just screams and wails like a racing Ferrari and is the best car they have produced for many years.

Just to give it some street cred (as if it needs any!) Sonny Crockett (Colin Farrell) will be pounding it around the causeways in the new Miami Vice movie too. It's cool, he's not..

It's not how loud it is amber, it's the sound itself. Like a screaming snorting animal, it sounds wild.

The engine has a growl to it that is sublime to these ears. So, the car is a little loud, but not that bad. Or, like madformac says, it is like a wild animal
