I'm putting cabfare, eats, shopping, sights, and the $100 ticket in there too.

haha...well justify it any way you want! That way you can't be mad at yourself for spending the money. heehee

Lightbulb Lol

Exactamundo.

I am still trying to get in touch with another gal to see if she would wanna hang out for that weekend since she's planning on doing the same. That way, we wouldn't be alone and can take pics for each other.

well, I'll tell you this. I had these exact same thoughts about Vegas last year and NOTS this year. I could have all but one of my bills paid off with the money I've spent/will spend. then I thought, you know what, wtf am I thinking? the thought of traveling, shopping, eating good food, seeing new things and a little Stevie sprinkled in makes me wet, so I have not thought twice about it. you only live once.

Arrow Question

Has anyone flown on US Airways before? Are they good, bad, ugly?

I've flown them before-they're as good as anyone else.

And hey, we're looking for a surrogate, probably next year. We can fund your musical ventures for you then. LOL

Exclamation Lol

Well, if you will fund my trips, perhaps you'd like to have twins. LOL I'm actually supposed to be next in line in my family for them, I believe.

You just can't do all this wild partying/travelling while pregnant with my twins!!! You'll have to wait until AFTER you give birth.

Exclamation Okee...

I'm going. For sure. Booked the flight, hotel and got my ticket. There are 6 other ladies confirmed to be going and perhaps 4 others...maybe more. US Airways, it is.

Anyone got suggestions on what can't be missed in Philly?

Well, I've never been, but I guess the Liberty Bell would be an obvious choice. I was going to suggest looking into youth hostels if money was one of your issues, but you already booked your hotel! Hope you have fun!

Thumbs up For sure!

Liberty Bell is most def on my list of things to see...along with Love Park and the Museum of Art. I HAVE to run up the steps like Rocky...it's mandatory. LOL Never have seen the movie, but I am familar with that scene.

Youth hostels. {shiver} LOL I'm staying at a Bed and Breakfast along with another lady from the JG board. (Not in the same room, though) Got a great deal through expedia.com.

Yeah Christy! I am sorry but I just saw this thread now. I worked yesterday. I was going to tell you that Southwest air is having a big sale until Monday at midnight and that they do serve Phily.
You know that I would have done the same to see Lindsey!
Phily is a beautiful city but I still have not had a chance to explore it that much. When are you planning on going?

Arrow Pattie...

I've booked through expedia for US Airways, but I just checked Southwest out of curiosity. It's about the same price roundtrip as the good deal I got. I had no idea SW went to PA!

Coming home, I'll be on an Embraer-145. Holds 50 people. I'm a little freaked out by that, since it's the smallest airplane I've flown on and I'm a nervous flyer anyways. I may have to take a valium or something.

I'm going over...Memorial Day weekend. LOL I could have left like Tuesday and come back Friday, but I wanted to be there at the same time as the other ladies going. We are planning something fun for the other board members, so it should be a blast!

Michele, I'm not the most spontaneous person, but like I was saying to MFM...I guess it's an age thing. LOL I'm not married, no kids, live at home with my dad.....don't get out much. So, this will be cool.

Well done Christy.

Enjoy the trip. I'm sure it will be great.

I'd love to see the Rocky Balboa statue outside the library if I could visit Philadelphia. Not the most exciting thing to do I know but something I would like to see.
