I dont know, but with the Queen theme next week, I could see several contestants having problems. Taylor and Bucky at the forefront. I just cant picure their voices going with any of their songs.

Advocate: Would you be comfortable performing or singing at a gay event?
Mandisa: I would not, no.

Would it conflict with your religious beliefs?
Based on what I believe, I'm not an advocate for [being gay], so it's nothing I would take part in.

Do you think that feeling contributed--along with your Web site profile--to some people not voting for you?
It's possible. Honestly, I'm not sure. I've heard a lot of different theories about what could have happened, and all of 'em sound pretty decent to me. So I just know I did my best and I tried to live my life in public the way I do in my personal life. You know, it was just my time and it could have contributed.

Do you think gay people can turn straight?
I don't really know. I honestly don't know much about it. I wouldn't be very knowledgeable to speak on that subject.

good riddance Mandumbass

What an idiot. She's not an advocate for being gay but she doesn't know much about it? Ignoramus was a word invented for people who think that way.

Good riddance, Mandisa!

Chris should do "Tie Your Mother Down" for Queen week! I adore that song...

Who will get the abbreviated version of "Bohemian Rhapsody?" Probably Ace, he can hit the falsetto. I wonder if Constantine will be jealous...

Taylor or Paris will probably do "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." Gag.

Our local rock station does a theme prom every spring at the Hyatt, and you have to dress up for the theme. Three years ago, it was 70's, two years ago, it was 80's, they hired Eddie Money to play for that. Last year, it was Pimps and Hos. One of Bob Schneider's many bands, The Scabs (funky!) played for that. This year it's the Hair Ball. They've hired Quiet Riot. Kinda the same as the 80's theme, but they want people to dress up more like rock stars from the 80's, with Aquanet being a major accessory. I've already got a room booked.

Good riddance indeed. I'm very glad she was voted out this week. And I'm sorry I ever liked her in the first place.

Livia that party sounds totally fun! I just got my hair cut too so teasing it up would not be a problem. I love dressing up anyway, Halloween is the best. You are going to have such a blast.

If Ace does Bohemian Rhapsody I am going to vomit. But you may be right about that. I totally forgot about Tie Your Mother Down! My ex was in a band that did that song, it freaking rocks I agree. It is a complete sacrilege though that Idol is doing Queen songs. It is wrong on so many levels. And my pic and quote below have nothing to do with it, the quote has been rattling in my head for over a week and I had to get rid of Courtney. It is going to be interesting anyway.

No, but I read a story online (that I can't find now) about Bucky and his twin brother (Rocky?) filing a false police report and then attempting insurance fraud over a car accident a few years back. Rocky was apparently driving with a suspended license, got in a wreck, got Bucky to say he was driving, then bullied the other car's driver into going along with the story

If I come across the page again, I'll post...

I know! It may as well be Rocky and Bullwinkle

Yeah, Queen week. I wonder how horribly the contestants will butcher the songs. I wonder what Pickle will sing....this is really out of her field of knowledge, but what isn't?

Noone better touch Under Pressure. I will be a very strict judge if they do

Exclamation **spoilers**

According to USA Today, they'll be singing: (highlight for spoilers)

•Ace Young, We Will Rock You: ''I urbanized the verses a little, just by riding on (the notes). I put a little R&B soul on it. When we were done, they said, 'That sounds like a record.''

•Bucky Covington, Fat Bottomed Girls: ''Yes, we all love the fat-bottomed girls.''

•Chris Daughtry, Innuendo: ''It's a relatively unknown song. It just had a mixture of a dark feel and a positive message. And I just found out they've never performed this live.''

•Elliott Yamin, Somebody to Love: ''I was drawn to the passionate emotion of the song. I heard a lot of soul in it.''

•Katharine McPhee, Who Wants to Live Forever: ''How could (this) not be fun? We're working with so many different legends.''

•Kellie Pickler, Bohemian Rhapsody: ''We only have 1 minute and 30 seconds, and the song is really long. Having to cut so many pieces is really hard to memorize, because I'm not singing the song as it's originally played.''

•Paris Bennett, The Show Must Go On: ''Being with the band was a big experience to me, never being with a rock band before. I was able to pick a song that fits me, that's still rocky.''

•Taylor Hicks, Crazy Little Thing Called Love: ''You listen to a Queen song, it's really melodic and very powerful, and the dynamics (are) really cool.''
