You know, country stars really do keep their prices in line, which is good.

I imagine they don't have the overhead Madonna does... a dozen dancers, intricate set-designs and lighting, projection screens, costume changes (for her and all of the dancers), backing band, and so on and so forth.

Unfortunately though, all of that stuff makes ticket prices extremely prohibitive and leaves a lot of people out in the cold. I'm certain there is a very large portion of her audience who can't afford to fly somewhere to see her and pay those ticket prices on top of it.

Blondie tickets are $35...

Here is an article on concert draws and from it:

Madonna's average haul of $4.6 million per concert, however, was the highest among all acts. By this measure, U2's $2.0 million average ranked No. 4.

http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...goryid=16&cs=1

I read somewhere that Madonna gets almost a million a show, which is rather staggering. But, even if that is half true, that is still a huge amount.

I wonder what the lowest priced Madonna tickets will go for. Surely the $350 price dissention quoted must be the top tier.

Or fan club or something. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much to see her.

Well, it's often been said that any artist's seriously die-hard fans aren't quite in their right mind.
