Pick it up & run with it. Don't stop till you get enough. See what you can find!

Kate Bush "Nocturn" sounds like a Pink Floyd track.

Warren Zevon "Werewolves of London" sounds like a Fleetwood Mac track.

Kate Bush "Why Should I Love You" sounds like a Prince track.

Keep going!

Um. No. It sounds pretty typical of Zevon, actually.
Warren Zevon tracks don't sound like anybody but Zevon, no matter who's playing the instruments or doing the vocals.

Death Cab for Cutie's Stable Song sounds like Fleetwood Mac's Crystal.

Stars' Calendar Girl sounds like an old Stevie Nicks demo. (something on Almanac) (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=34111352)

Loads and loads of new Britpop bands sound like Joy Division. (I don't think it's a bad thing though, I still like them)

Based on some opinions here, "Werewolves of London" IS a Fleetwood Mac track: it's got Mick and John:

I love "My ****'s ****ed Up"! My favorite of his more comical songs though is "Mr. Bad Example."

This is kind of off-topic, but you know what I don't understand?? I'm a member of message boards at WarrenZevon.com, and recently those boards have been more active than this one. I know people have attested the decline in activity around here in part to the fact that there isn't anything really new going on with the Mac, but if Warren Zevon fans can find an endless supply of things to talk about, we should be able to do it too!

Every Coldplay song sounds more or less like "Clocks".

Yeah, like Interpol? Are they considered Brit pop though? Anyway, total rip-off.
