I don't know if that's true. But during a freaking song? Not cool.

Not that'd I'd be able to resist...!
I'm sure she spent the night in jail if that happened.

Well I actually snuck up to the stage. I had a seat way back in the pavilion. I was up there chatting with people I knew, and before I knew it, it was like 5 min to showtime and I said to myself "I'm not going anywhere uuntil someone tells me to!" But I didnt bring my camera that night because I didnt know I was going to be up there. But I did get some fantastic pictures at San Diego in '03 and Green Bay '04. I have them both framed at my house. One day I'll have to post some of them. Another thing, wasnt it amazing how everyone worked together at that show to make sure Ashley could touch Lindseys guitar and stuff? I mean no one yelld SIT DOWN! or anything like that. I've never been a part of something like that night. It was truly magical. Especially after some of the bull**** that went on in places like Reno in '03.

Default Good Security Story

When my friend and I went last summer to see Stevie in Charlotte, we were so excited to have third row. We made friends with the security guy and he walked us up to the stage. He was so cute- excited for us! We actually stayed at Stevie's feet until halfway through the show when some heinous bitch and her friends made us move (so that they could talk during the whole show- I can't tell you how much I hated them).

Anaheim PD is notorious for their Gestapo-like attitudes...been that way for decades.

Well, they did their job, because one thing I remember is that I saw very few flashes going off at either show.

Well, being a musician myself, flash photography at a show is actually incredibly dangerous for the performer. As most people know, the flash temporarily blinds you, and for a performer, that could mean the chance of not seeing the edge of the stage and falling off.

It pisses me off when I see people taking photos with a flash at concerts. There's WAY enough stage lighting to take photos without a flash. Even when the stage lights are awash with blue lights.

Whenever I took pictiures, I would always make sure Lindsey wasnt looking like directly at me. So I was aware of that.

I think most of the problems with security at shows occur from VENUE SECURITY, not Stevie's personal security. Her personal security usually do not interfere with fans taking pictures, etc. They leave that stuff to venue security. Venue security always depends on the venue. I also have found that the venue security at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim is terrible. When I saw Stevie there last summer, they were just evil. Telling the first 3 rows they could come to the stage during Edge before the show started, then when it actually happened, they formed a barricade and locked arms and only allowed the front row.
It was kind of interesting Stevie went to spots of the stage where no-one was there, because about half of the front row wasn't interested..so she seemed to be a little confused as to why no fans were in some spots.

Yeah, I remember that too. Can you believe someone would sit during that?

Yes, but we had to stand behind this evil woman and her friends and seriously- they talked the entire rest of the show. It was as if BEING at the stage was more important than the moment itself, if that makes any sense. You could tell by what they were saying that they'd been to several shows on this tour. I really can't describe how much I hated them- they even left at one point to go get beer! Anyway, that was the show (after 25 years worth of Stevie concerts) that I actually got to hold Stevie's hand. And the beeyotch in front of me? Stevie bypassed her- HAH!

Well, good things come to those that wait my dear, right? I absolutely HATE those type of people that are so caught up in how great of fans they are.
