Actually both her eyes are green. The flash just made the one have a big glare on it. Is Missy really really soft? Violet is the softest (and best) cat I've ever had. She's got personality to spare.

My best friend sent me this last night. Unfortunately the kitty is a bit sick right now and my girlfriend is a mess worrying about her. But this picture is just too adorable.

that's so sweet. hope kitty feels better.

my cat gets on the bathroom sink every night before bed and circles the sink until I fill it with water. she laps it up like she's dying of thirst. I'm like, don't you have a water bowl full of fresh water? why must you drink from the sink? well, I guess it's better than when my big dog drinks from the toilet.

Mufy has his own glass on the coffee table because he doesn't drink out of his bowl either. After he had his urinary crystals the vet told me to make sure he has lots of water. So since he would steal my water from the table I figured I would just put his own glass there. Oh how I love him!

Confession time.....my cats don't even use a water bowl. They only drink from the toilets. Every once in a while I'll put a bowl down, but the NEVER use it.

My friend was told her cat has an enlarged stomach and possibly a UTI. Blood work was okay, though. She's beside herself. She's been sleeping in their office with the cat every night. They lock the cat up in there because she's been having accidents, and there's no carpet in there. Hopefully she'll be okay. She is 13, though.

Did they x-ray her to see if anything is in her bladder? The poor baby. Mufy used to drink from the toilette but my roommate couldn't stand it so we keep the lid down now. Once in a while if we have a guest who doesn't put it down he gets in there! It's so funny.

It's a perfectly captured moment of why I love cats. They are idiotic and crazy and do things other animals wouldn't.

When cats get "The Boggits" as I call them and they have a totally mad five minutes without warning its captivating... Until they break something.

We call those the "zooms" around my house. When I had Siamese cats, the "zooms" included scaling the drapes.

yes. I've had that! Scale the drapes, stick the claws in and scrape back down..

You ever had yours walking along and then jump about 4 feet vertically for no reason??

X-ray will be the next step. They have her on antibiotics now. I talked to my friend a little bit ago (we're in different states ) and she said the cat hasn't been grooming herself or eating much. But after being on antibiotics for 2 days, she thinks she's eating more. I really hope she gets better, for my friend's sake.
