Newsweek Features Rumours

Newsweek was talking about how Graphics from the 60's and 70's are making a comeback, and they showed various graphics from the era that this designer likes. One of them is Rumours. "Boomer graphics ranging from Wes Wilson's disorienting 60's posters to the sexy renaissance look of this Fleetwood Mac album to Ed RUscha's unromatic canvas of 'Romance'"

Is it worth buying for the pictures? Obviously I've seen the Rumours cover, but would they be cool to scrapbook?

I've been meaning to put my Fleetwood Mac and Rumours albums in one of those album frames to display them as artwork. I've always loved how the Rumours encarnation of Fleetwood Mac had their covers designed. They were so surreal and elegant. I love the photos within Tusk as well. The cover isn't as impressive as the artwork inside.

(Besides, back then I had a dog similar to the one on the cover, and I had the exact same running sneakers. She'd always go after my foot like that too!)

I always wonder whose foot that is on Tusk .... probably Lindsey's, after the rest of the band set a dog on him in revenge for him making them all do the album ....

I have one of the Tusk collages in one of those frames. I found it - just the one sleeve - in the back of some junk store, with a copy of a Trooper album inside. Go figure. I have the complete Tusk album too, but that one actually has the records in it.

There's really nothing quite like the way Fleetwood Mac is written on the cover of Rumours.
