"A Treasury Of Great Poems" - complied and selected by Louis Untermeyer

A lot of good works in it.

Untermeyer was an interesting guy. Lionel Trilling once found him on top of a sheep out at Edmund Wilson's farm in Vermont.

Trilling asked him just what he thought he was doing, & Untermeyer said, "I thought he was limping."

I highly, highly recommend Jacques Barzun's "Clio & the Doctors."

You will NOT be able to put it down -- even after you finish!

I'm about a quarter of the way into Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix.
Harry potter and the goblet of fire was the first of the series i've read and i will read the first 3 (i do have all 6 books) after i have read the last one.
I made the mistake With the goblet of fire of finishing it just before i saw the film, and all you do than during the film is compare it to the book for better or worse, i should have known better after the same thing happened with grisham's the pelican brief and Tolkien's The Two Towers.
That is why i want to finish this fifth potter book way before the film is finished and i'm not even going to read dan brown's the Da vinci Code , atleast not before i see the film.

Just finished "Marley and Me."

Yeah... um... if you turn into a blubbering idiot when you read something sentimental and sad about an animal (like I do), you might want to read it in private, preferably with music blaring so nobody can hear you sob at the end and so that nobody can hear you laughing hysterically at other parts.

ugh - just read an awful anne tyler book, called the amateur marriage. usually anne tyler is good for an easy read that requires no thinking. this one made me use too much energy trying to stay awake.

Rich Dad's guide to investing by Robert Kiyosaki. I saw him on PBS and I really liked what he had to say. next stop, ebay for cheaper prices on richdad/poordad merchandise. now Im educating myself.
