Good (and by good I mean bad) drunk story. After driving around with hot drunk Monte Carlo guy one evening, we went to a party & got drunker. He drove me home & I walked in & my mother was yelling at me for being late. I went to my room & realized I had to puke. So I ran down the hall into the bathroom & spun around fast to shut the door behind me. Well, during my uncoordinated spin, I slipped on the bathroom throw rug & fell backwards into the bathtub (which was directly to the right as soon as you walked in.) In doing so, I broke the soapdish off the wall with the back of my head (you know, those ceramic ones cemented to the wall to match the rest of the ceramic tile all over the shower wall?) So of course I black out & pee my pants. Nice. Thank God we didn't have those glass shower doors yet.I wake up about 10 seconds later to my mother slapping me awake. She thought I was dead. I got undressed & went to bed. Woke up the next morning to her feeling around the back of my skull to make sure I hadn't bled to death in the night (she had done that several times during the night, apparently.) Never was I so embarrassed or disgusted with myself. My poor mother. My poor head. I had a bump on my head, but instead of the usual "goose egg" round one you get when you bump your head, it was an oblong one that ran the whole length of the base of my skull. ![]() |

Oh, Paula.
I can't think of anything dumb I've done. Does talking count? Surely I must have done something totally retarded at some point. I was in a play in 8th grade, had the lead, and for some bizarre reason I didn't memorize any of my lines. This was in front of the whole school and everything. That was extremely embarrassing, and I don't know why I didn't realize it would be. To top it off, the other girl playing the role (an 8th grader, I was in 7th) was super funny improv girl. If I recall, many people in the school were talking about how lame I was in that play. I never dropped a line onstage again. Ever. That strikes me as the dumbest thing I ever did. How dull. I took acid at school when I had stuff to do, and it seems pretty dumb, but everything turned out fine and it was really fun, so I don't really think of it as dumb.

The dumbest thing I've witnessed is a friend of mine decided to see what would happen if he threw a lit match into a petrol (gas) can and looked in it.
What a moron. Luckily (somehow) all he lost were his eyebrows and eyelashes... I saw some retard throw a petrol can into a bonfire surrounded by people ( i decided at that point to move away!). It exploded and shot out at about 80mph in the only gap where there were no people. Looked like the delorean in BTTF. A trail of fire across the parking lot. It was a miracle it didn't explode at another angle.. |
