Okay, I just had one, too. I never used to eat this kind of apple, then I got some about a month ago, and I can't stop eating them. They are the best apple ever. And I've had a lot of apples. Fuji!!! They're perfectly sweet, perfectly crunchy, and perfectly juicy.

Amber, I am completely addicted to these apples now and they are really expensive! They truly are the perfect apple.

I like those, but I'm more of a Granny Smith guy myself.

Fugi apples are the only kind I eat. I love them!

And now we have 3! (hi golden braid )
They are? I get the five kids pack at whole foods for 2.50. Hmm, I guess that's 50 cents an apple. Is that expensive? It seems better when I say "five for $2.50"
But yeah, I like apples a lot, but those are the best.

I bought 5 the other night and it came to over $7.

I'll buy them anyway- I can't have any other apple now.

My mom likes the Granny Smith's, which is fine with me because that keeps her away from my fuji's. plus, GS's are cheaper. They seem so mushy to me.

Also, to fight hunger, pretzels won't do it because they have a high glycemic index due to all that white flower. Neither will yogurt since it is loaded with sugar, unless you are eating the sugar free variety in which case that should help.

But I hear ya sista, I am always hungry! I would love to get down to your weight though. I carry about 15 more lbs than people would expect and never tell anyone my weight. Would you believe that my frikkin gym has the scale in the middle of everything? Ugh!

Nuts are also a good snack to satisfy and stave off hunger, you've just got to watch portions because they are not low-cal!

Hey thanks for responding. I recently just bought that Jergens Natural Glow lotion and I absolutely love it. It makes my legs look a little better but its hard to camoflauge the dimples!! I kinda had a feeling that the pretzels were a bad idea. I am trying not to eat much sugar and I love salty food. Of course that probably is my downfall. When I eat yogut it is the sugar free kind but it doesnt do much for me. I like nuts but I have a problem with them in the fact that once I start I cannot stop eating them. HA HA.
You would like to be down to my weight? That sucks about the scale at your gym being out in the open like that. I wouldnt want to weight myself in front of other people like that. Thats awful that they dont put it somewhere else. I think I feel the need to be thinner because everyone in my family is smaller than me. I know that sounds strange but I would like to be the really thin one for once. The funny thing is that basically no matter what I do my weight never really goes below 125. Figures!

This may seem obvious, but if you stretch, like do yoga, a lot it could help cellulite. Seriously.

Its upsetting because I want to wear shorts in the summer but I am getting dimpling on my upper and lower thighs which makes it hard to wear shorts unless they are down to my knees. I lift weights and do either the treadmill or elliptical so I am not sure what else to do. Does anybody here have any ideas? I have no problem being the same weight forever because I look thin in my clothes its just the cellulite that scares me.
I was going to get endermologie but I hate to pay a ton of money if it doesnt work.
Hey! No complaining! You are exactly where I want to be! I heard somewhere that once you have the dimpling cellulite, it never goes away. I hope that's way wrong, though.

I regained that 2 pounds back that I just lost, but I know it's because I wasn't watching what I eat carefully enough. Stupid out of town guests & parties & ordering out. Blergh. I did, however, maintain my workouts on The Beast as well as light weights for my arms. So I'm not going to get upset about it, I'll keep trucking. Oh, and I'm getting my period, so I'm allotting about 10 pounds to water weight.

I like Fuji apples too, but Granny's are my fave. Crisp & tart - I hate a dull mushy apple. Apples are so good, and so good for you. I like citrus fruits too, but they're kind of messy & not as easy to eat on the run. Bananas - eh. Love peaches & plums in season, and berries! Yes, berries will be in season soon. OK, so, apples it is for now.

ok, NutriSystem update - it's a bunch of BS. do not waste your money. I'm so PO'd right now. it is a total joke. they talk about all the great food you get blah blah...well some meals are shakes (what? I didn't think this was SlimFast), the chicken tastes like tuna, you have to buy even MORE things from the grocery story, nothing is pre-prepared, teeny tiny portions...it's such a con.

anywho...I've had the flu since Saturday so I'm still going strong with 15 lbs weight loss since the first of the year. 2 more months to lose at least that much more before NOTS.

Gretchen, stop trying to make fetch happen! It's not going to happen!

Also, just eat grilled chicken and vegatables (no butter on them ) until then. If you want carbs, do them in the morning and them eat oatmeal if you like it.

Finally, the Stairmaster is your friend

Good Luck!

Damnit Jason, I was just thinking of you and this- even mentioned you to my mom (who is doing Weight Watchers with me). That just sucks! If you want, I can't send you some WW info (point book or whatever)- you just wouldn't have to go to the meetings- to help get you ready for NOTS.

I am so mad. I'm getting a refund from QVC. I don't know what I'll do. I just knew this was going to be a challenge, but a success...there's just no point to it.

Stupid Nutrisystem bastards.

If you're interested check outCalorieKing.com. I got their software which was only $20. I have had good luck entering my daily intake into it and not getting overly frustrated. It is pretty easy to use. Then of course you eat your own choice of foods but you have to stay within your calorie allotment. That motivates you to eat low-cal so you can have more food and not have to be starving for hours.

Weight Watchers is supposed to be the most successful plan out there because you eat real food and it is a lifestyle change. I'm just not so much of a joiner that way, maybe to my own detriment!

Suze, if you don't want to go to meetings, think about their online program. You get the points information and a computer program or whatever to help track your food. The boards are great, too, for questions and just general support.

I was always a little weirded out going to meetings because I was going by myself, and I was always BY FAR the youngest person in there. The other women were always soccer moms or grannies. My leader was a total lush and they would all look at the two of us like we were crazy for saving our flex points for liquor.
