I could see why it would be easier to fit in the Christine songs on the CD... too many good songs. One of these days, I'm finally going to burn a ITM/SYW CD myself. By the way, I wasn't critisizing your track list. It's a good one.

I have nothing to compare it to since I've never heard Fleetwood Mac play it live, but I LOVE "Just Crazy Love" from her solo tour.

The effect was even more pronounced on the tour (as Kristine McKenna -- or was it Connie Johnson -- even noted in her L.A. Times review of the Universal Amp show).
I didn't really mind it on the album, but I would agree about the tour. I loved the show I saw. It's the one and only time I'll ever see her live. But if I could have changed anything about it, I would have reigned in Todd's guitar solos. I'm not a big fan of guitar solos. I love piano solos though. The L.A. Times review wasn't the only one that complained about Todd's solos. The Philadelphia Inquirer reviewer said the same thing, although he liked Christine herself.

No I realise that - the comment about Forgiveness was a valid one. I like the song very much it's just that I can't find a place for it!!

No..."The Challenge" was different. That wasn't Todd, that was Eric Clapton, so right there, that deflates your "interchangable" theory. You can't "interchange" a Clapton solo.

Ladies & Gentlemen - it's track list!

1. Friend
2. Thrown Down
3. Miranda
4. Forgiveness
5. Say You Will
6. Peacekeeper
7. Calumny
8. Silver Girl
9. Steel Your Heart Away
10. Bleed to Love Her
11. So Sincere
12. Say Goodbye
13. Givin it Back
14. Goodbye Baby

When I added Miranda instead of Red Rover then Forgiveness could be fitted in. Hurrah!

And check this out - no guitar solos (torching or otherwise)

My work here is done!

Thank you and goodnight.

Gail

Yeah that Clapton solo is quite unique.

Good job, Gail. And, you managed to get "Forgiveness"(one of my favorites) on there.

Thank you I am reasonably pleased with it. There are a few of Christine's that I would have like to put on but I ran out of room and the balance would have been wrong. I got my favourites off SYW on it (with the exception of Red Rover which lost out to Miranda)

It's not to everyone's taste but we're all different.

"Silver Girl" is absolutely horrendous. Replace it with "Destiny Rules" and we'll talk.

Here's my pick for a combined album:

1. Miranda
2. Friend
3. Running Through The Garden
4. You Are
5. What's The World Coming To
6. Thrown Down
7. Liar
8. Smile At You
9. Steal Your Heart Away
10. Givin' It Back
11. Everybody Finds Out
12. Calumny
13. Destiny Rules
14. Murrow Turning Over In His Grave

No "Come," No "Bad Journey," No Silver Hurl.

Your track listing has merits I have to admit but I like Silver Girl (I may of course be in need of therapy or some sort of counselling or it maybe too late)

Good job we're not all the same isn't it?

Five Christine songs out of 14 - nice proportion

Gail
