I love the agony, the emotion, the desperate pleading vocals,the totally shot hoarse voice..
I love it all and I love it more for what it says about she and Lindsey and the never ending story of their "connection" love/hate -hate/love passion and despair...
"Again and again...over and over..."

For me- there truly is no better song that captures her vunerability at that time- than this one.

I love both of these songs. If I had to choose, I'd say WISYA is better, only because Lindsey sings on it and produced it.

Hell Yea!!! That is in my top 5 Stevie solo songs - along with "Ooh My Love" & "Ghosts"

Freedom is great also - especially christines backing vocals

The Second Time. It is a beautiful song! Actually, I love all of Stevie's BTM songs.

I've always loved The Second Time. I love the lyrics and I just think it's such a pretty song. The only problem I have with it are Stevie's lifeless vocals, like all her songs on BTM.

WISYA is tragic and heartbreaking and her damaged voice at that time does reflect the whole feel of the song very well. If I must pick, I'd have to pick WISYA but I still love TST

I agree with everything Eclipse posted. The desperation in her voice, the pain and fear....ahhh, I love it. Plus Lindsey at the end is perfect.

I just listened to WISYA and I had forgotten how pretty it is. I could do without some of the lyrics and the way too many 'What's a matter, babys?" However. I do like LB's guitar work and his vocals on the song.

I like The Second Time a bit better. I also listen to BTM more. I am sometimes in the mood for Stevies' fragile voice. I also love her voice on Smiling Islands, She Loves Him Still, Rock A Little, and Landslide 1980 Live. Her raw emotion is touching.

"When I See You Again" is the better song all around. Somebody should've bulk erased the master tapes of "The Second Time" as a "Save The World" measure.

Second Time by a narrow margin in my book.

The lights go out in the arena. The stage is dark. Lindsay appears at one side, Stevie at the other. They walk across, meet in the middle, hug. The crowd goes crazy. They break into Second Time. Just them, white spot light. "The secontd time around, for us, she never looked back, she could never look back." The stage goes dark, then Mick's base drum starting the beat of The Chain...

You have wonderful taste. Such a great song. Wished they did it on the BTM Tour...but no biggie. I enjoyed that tour immensley, both legs, which were slightly different. In the second leg of the tour got to see Lindsey with the band for the first time in a long time at the Oakland, CA show (I think he showed up for LA too). Stevie looked much better on the first leg of the BTM tour though.

Also, so good to see WISYA winning. It's such a great song.
