Have you tried La Croix? I like the orange one the best. No calories, no carbs, no sugar, no sugar substitute. Just sparkling water w/ natural flavoring added. It's deelish!!

How come you get free Ben n Jerry's?

I'll have to try those baked Cheetos. I liked baked Lays and I love Cheetos.

Well, we had our annual Oscar's party which consisted of Swedish meatballs, cheese puffs, mini quiches, chocolate chip cookies, lemon cake and white wine. Mmmmm, I love the Oscar's party.

My roommate is addicted to these at the moment so I stole some and they are pretty good! I just got a big bag of Trader Joe's cheese puff thingys, hopefully those are good, they are all natural. The FD&C yellow #2 red #5 (or whatever the colors) in Cheetos scare me. According to Dr. Weil you should avoid artificial coloring because the molecules are volatile and can damage your cells. However, a little here and there won't hurt!

I just ate a Trader Joe's muffin, cranberry orange, that has so much fiber in it that it is really filling and low cal. Yum. Plus coffee, always coffee in the morning, I love coffee.

The only thing about those baked cheetos is that they're like eating air. I have to eat half a bag to feel sated!

I just downed a bowl of oatmeal with a bottled water, mmmm, not very interesting.

For lunch I'm having a cajun turkey breast sandwich on particulary nutty bread, with 2% milk cheddar cheese...hey, I'm trying to be good

I have Working Assets long distance company. They give a percentage of their profits to various causes I believe in (you know, all the good liberal ones) and I guess since Ben and Jerry's also swings left, I get one free B n J a month.

Jist so you know, diet soda stores formaldehyde in your fat cells. Also studies have shown that people who consume diet soda are more hungry and lose less weight. I forgot if those two things are related. Also soda rapidly disintegrates your teeth. I just got back from the dentist and I had a buttload of cavities, so I'm really considering cutting way back on the soda.

I drink diet soda, too - I try not to, but I still do.

You got cavities from diet soda? Did I miss something?

Anyway, I've heard about the formaldehyde thing with diet sodas, but I thought it affected your liver. In fact, I've heard that drinking too much diet soda can pickle your liver! Of course this could just be an urban legend, but if it isn't.

You missed the part where chemicals in all soda disintegrate your teeth. It's not the sugar, it's something else.
And i'm not sure exactly what I got cavities from, but the amount of soda I drink could be a large contributing factor.
