Oh I just remembered, it was "Being John Malkovich" where Catherine was a walking skeleton and I don't find that attractive.

And yes, it's a good thing we all have different tastes!

Seriously though - the woman flat out says she wanted to grow up to be "trash" lol....

I LOVE DOlly and have my whole life, but I recognize that the song she was nominated for is not her strongest.

Lauren Bacall looks amazing for 81. I felt bad that she couldn't see.

Okay, maybe "class" wasn't the best word. But, I liked the way she performed. I thought it was classy. Just her and a microphone. No theatrics. No fire. No dancers. Subtlety is classy to me.

Strong male acting nominees this year, IMO. Hoffman eerily captured Capote, IMO.

I agree... there is something about her that is really hot... she was definitely beautiful in "The 40 Year Old Virgin".

He was sensational and well deserving of this award. I have been a huge Hoffman fan since Magnolia. He is seriously one of the most talented actors of our time. I'm so glad he's finally getting the kudos he deserves.

It wasn't the woman sitting next to him was it? I thought that was his date. Sse looked way too young to be his mom.

Wow, so far Geisha is the big winner....and it was such a crappy movie. But a pretty one, which is why it's winning all the art awards.

I love John Travolta! He has to be the most likeable guy in Hollywood. He was the only presenter that I thought wasn't stuck up. Him, and Jennifer Garner. But, how stuck up can you be when you almost fall on your face? lol
