Weird ep last night. At first, I hated it - it seemed wrong. Lorelai would never feel comforatble in a place like that, but she was acting like it was great. It just didn't seem right. Then all was well with Luke & Lor & I was enjoying it. Then stupid Huntzberger showed up & was a dick, as usual, and Logan did what he was told, as usual.

HATED the end, when the mere mention of April ruins everything - why?!?! Why is Lorelai getting all pouty every time Luke mentions her? I would feel left out too, but SAY something! Tell him you want to meet her instead of moping around - that's SO not Lorelai.

So here's what I'm thinking: Logan will probably be given an ultimatum by his parents - Rory & doing what he wants but they cut him off, OR doing as he's told & ditching Rory in order to stay rich. I just have a feeling. And I've no clue which he'll choose.

As far as Luke & Lor, they MUST get married, they simply must. Anything else is unacceptable to me. I don't care if they elope, or do a big thing, or what. They just have to get married. That is all.

Rory & Logan were creeping me out with that singsong-y thing of theirs, and the annoying couple-y crap with the newspaper, etc. Made me want to puke.

I'm pissed off at the show, seriously. It's one thing to enter in a totally soap opera subplot about Luke's lost daughter- but for christ's sake, do they have to forget everything they've done with this character, and everything about him that we loved? Luke is not a stupid man. He's not completely careless and thoughtless. He doesn't treat people he loves like they don't exist. He's a grumpy man- not a social retard who doesn't know how to treat the woman he fought for for ten years.

It's pissing me off.

The show's going to at least have next season, which I think would be perfect- I want the show to end with Rory graduating Yale. It's just a matter of whether or not Amy & Daniel will renew their contracts and stay at the helm. I hope they do- it would be a weird change of pace to have someone else controlling and writing the show, even if they are sucking lately.

I'm trying to figure out if last night's episode was actually as funny as I thought it was, because I was stoned and thought that it and Scrubs were the funniest things I'd ever seen.

I want an MP3 of Sebastian Bach doing Hollaback Girl. It was awesome. And I squealed like a girl when Zach proposed to Lane, even though I think it's totally retarded. She's crazy.

I also side with Logan with that whole thing. Dude, they were on a break. He's a man whore. That's what you get.

I only caught bits & pieces between Idol, I have to watch it tonight (I taped it.) Hollaback Girl? Ho****.

Logan - I agree with you, but I still feel bad for Rory. You just know she got that sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, that she had NO clue about it. He's so slick, I don't want to like him. But I do.

Gigi is a brat.

Zach came to see Gil & Brian to try and get them to reform the band, and they were playing a bat mitzvah. So he walked in on them doing Hollaback Girl, WONDERFULLY. Gil dedicated it to the bat mitzvah-ee, saying it was her favorite song. They also alluded to having played "My Humps." Then they ended it with Hava Negila- his pronunciation was excellent! I freaking love Sebastian Bach on there. I know it'll be a good episode for me if I see his name in the credits.

Does anyone else here like Chris? Or at least like the story line when he comes on the show? I really liked the conversations between Lorelai and Chris last night. Luke has been such a downer on the show lately and Lorelai seems to have lost some of her energy. It was fun to see her joking around with someone and getting angry when she felt she needed to.

They're really playing the parallels up on GG right now. Zach and Lane are getting married as are Luke and Lorelai. Rory and Paris have broken up with their respective boyfriends. Luke and Chris are both trying to raise daughters, but the difference is Chris wants to include Lor and at the moment Luke isn't.

Can you tell I hang out on TWoP, hayley?

I'm still watching season 2 and this story line has nothing on those shows. WTF? I do like the band doing Hollaback girl. Everything else just seems contrived.

Of course, I will still watch it!

I like how Lorelai becomes with Chris- fun, you know? Their banter is natural, and I like it. But I still go "UGGHGGHHHH" every time I see his name in the credits, because I kinda just wish he'd go away. I liked the Chris stuff in the earlier seasons- Christopher Returns and that whole arc in the first season is one of my favorites of the show. But you're totally right- it was great to see her so pissed at Chris. I miss seeing fire from Lorelai- they've turned her into this weird lobotomized person. Luke deserves a slap- and so do the writers, for turning him into an insensitive idiotic boob.

And the parallels ARE insane- and I feel like I'm being hit over the head with the contrivance stick.

I used to be a constant poster on the TWoP GG boards, but. I just can't let myself care that much about this show anymore. I love it, I will not miss it, I try to make everyone watch it, but I'm disappointed in the way the last few seasons have gone and it makes me a little sad.

I completely agree. I can't even read the Alias boards anymore because the show is so bad. I don't feel that way about GG yet, but I feel like I'm watching a different show. As I was telling someone the other day, it feels like it's lost its heart.

I loved the first and second season episodes with Christopher. I don't mind the angsty moments between them. I was smiling when she got to rub in the fact that Sherri did to him what he did to her. Just a little bit.

I was at a show last night, so I won't see it until tonight. I couldn't wait and stay spoiler-free, though, so I read a recap. I just. cannot. believe. what. they. did. I'll post again when I've seen it, but JESUS. WHY.

I was trying not to spoil in case you guys missed it. The sucky thing is that I had NO CLUE until the last 90 seconds. I thought I would barf. Wait until you hear the last line spewed out by Chris.

I will say that Rory actually made me feel sad for her & Logan. I kind of like them together. Plus, I'd bang him.

It premieres tonight! Although I'm not sure if I will be able to watch since it is opposite House, my new roommate's favorite show. We might have to flip for it. I HAVE to see the premiere!

I'm through discs 1, 2, and part of 3 for Season 5 so I am catching up. I can't believe Rory lost her virginity to Dean! And while he was married! Damn. They just broke up at this point and she's been getting to know Logan. That secret society episode was really neat.

The season finale for season 4 kind of sucked. Lorelei and Luke's first kiss was forced after the whole Jason showing up thing. That was so contrived and they should have just left him out. It would have made the episode much more romantic.

I frigging love Kirk having night terrors while naked. That was too much.

It was hysterical when he was asking Luke for help.
