I'm almost positive it's the Prodigy - they had a female member for a while.
That's not the band that had the singer with the huge nose ring is it?

I'm going with the legs theory. Never thought I'd have to say that again

God, you really know you're obsessed when you can recognise an artist by their legs .... but you're right, she doesn't cross them.

I remain confused, however.

So, I just wasted 30 minutes of my life looking around a Prodigy website, before I realized the obvious from the photo on said website's front page: Two of the founding (and still current) members are black.

Currently checking on Style Council, since this *seems* to be an '80s picture.

I don't get the "crossed legs" theory, since this is a staged photo, and if her legs weren't crossed she'd be poking the guy on the floor in the kidneys. Not to mention the necessity of crossing them in the super-short skirt. But I've so rarely seen her legs that I agree it's completely weird.

Those guys are dressed in High '80s style: those sleeveless things & the pointy shoes & spandex. It's like a photo of the guys in Blondie circa 1981. Stevie's hair in the photo is 1991 or after, so that doesn't fit.

Yeah, her legs don't look like that & she doesn't cross them like that. It looks like the body of some slender, leggy model, very Studio 54ish.

Stevie is (or was) a ballerina, a sprite of the air, a fleeting spirit of the Kingdom of Faerieville.

I think the face looks very obviously photoshopped in.

I'm wondering if this is Berlin or Missing Persons?

You couldn't be more correct! Stevie's never been one to keep her legs crossed .

These listings are actually not the Billboard charts. It is the "ARC Top 40" chart...which I've never heard of.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. I just went to another site to find out what the ARC chart is.

Sapphire, I think you're joking, but what you say is probably true. Ever heard of Wilt Chamberlain's expoits? I won't say more.
