I think she was 18 by then. And, he also has released four or five albums with "Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings"...they're a cookin' hot blues band.

The touring schedule and travel accomodations just COULDn't be that strenuous. If they are, then somebody's f***ing spoiled and is out of touch with what a "real musician's" life is.

Ahh the days of sleeping on the equipment trunks during the '75 tour....

I'm not surprised that they aren't touring this summer. I was thinking next year sometime.

I will be surprised, if Lindsey tours this summer, because he hasn't released the album that he has been promising.

If he does anything this summer, it might be releasing the album, but I bet that is it. I'll be happy, if he follows through on either one.

Well, boring and robotic is how I would describe 3 of the 5 SYW concerts I attended.

I personally never witnessed anything that seemed like a genuinely spontaneous moment of intimacy between Stevie and Lindsey during that tour. In fact, in the Bakersfield gig, she seemed downright annoyed with him.

That was my experience; I'm sure other shows were different.

I attended I think the first night of the two 2003 shows at the Arrowhead Pond. Front row. Lindsey struck me as desperately manic, trying to infuse some punk ardor & energy into what was essentially a slick & fogeyfied production that had more in common with Yanni than with Fleetwood Mac circa 1978, so his antics just seemed out of place & sadly comical.

Stevie was distant, from both her band & the audience. If she was standing stage right, a Molotov cocktail could have exploded stage left & I don't think she'd have been aware of it. Her eyes were glassy & vacant (my drug-savvy companion swore Stevie was on painkillers or pot), & she sang low & toneless & seemed not to bother keeping up with the tempo most of the time.

It was a really unsatisfying concert to me. I consider it my final Fleetwood Mac concert. That's okay. For me, it was mostly a great run: 1976 - 2003. But I'm done. I wiped off my hands, dusted my seat & trotted elsewhere.

I'll still go if and when they tour again. I don't really give two sh*ts about the drama. I mainly go for McVie's bass playing.

That's one hella expensive bass solo!!!

The Dance was it for me. I'm done with em. UNLESS they'd restart again, with Bekka and Billy.

Yeah, it's an expensive bass solo, but what can I say? John's one of the best. He's one of the few that I don't think can be improved upon too much. He does exactly what is needed for the song, not too much, not too little, JUST RIGHT! And, with as much live music I hear throughout the year, the value of that, for me, is surprisingly high.

And, I'd really love to see the band fronted by Lindsey, Billy, Bekka, and Rick (or Bob). Lots o' GEETAR!

I'd KILL to see Bob back in the band(and Bekka!!). OH, to hear him do 5 or 6 of his songs.

I don't think even Nostradamus would put money on that happening.. He's had 14 years to sort out a solo album.. 14 YEARS!!!!!! You could have your own grown up kid before Lindsey gets an album out let alone a tour..

The first London show in 2003 was great... First time they had been back in many years... Stevie was happy and enjoyed it. Lindsey played the best version of I'm So Afraid of the entire tour and then proceeded to totally destroy his Turner (never seen that before or since). The second night in London was more "standard procedure". As was the first night in Manchester but the second was eventful as Lindsey stopped a fight during Tusk and let the obcenities fly.

But I'm not gonna be paying $180 per seat again thanks.. Micks pension fund must be nicely topped up now and he doesn't need any more cash from me.

I bet old Bill was a bit of a Rhythm King between the sheets as well then.. Dirty bugger.

Maybe that's how they got the name.....
